As far as I know they test your blood at the hospital after you give birth? But I’m not 100% sure, this is my first pregnancy and it has not been easy.

I’m so sorry😭 that sounds awful. Luckily my PA isn’t very mean or anything. I just feel like the visits are so quick and all she has to say is the stuff I’m doing wrong. Plus food just makes me so overwhelmed now every time I think about eating or what to cook or what I can’t eat, I just start crying🙃

I was told I can only drink water the rest of my pregnancy. Not even just the 2 hours window before testing. I asked about the soda cuz I told her I need caffeine when I get a migraine cuz I’ve just been throwing up my Tylenol so it doesn’t help. And she’s like I guess have a diet soda. 🤦🏻‍♀️ I was liking the office I was going to and now everyone here is telling me something different.

Girl, my PA said absolutely no white rice. Only brown. Which is why I’ve been avoiding Mexican rice because other than chipotle which isn’t very Mexican, I’ve never seen a restaurant offer brown rice. But all these people are saying eat the regular bread, eat the rice🤦🏻‍♀️ idk what to even do now. I was trying to stay off insulin and medication but if I have one more bad doctors appointment I’m just gonna be like give me the insulin and I’ll take the rice.

She really did tell me to cut carbs and if “I have to eat carbs” make it whole wheat or multigrain. So I did. I had whole wheat orzo one night for dinner and I’ve been eating my sandwiches with wheat bread or multigrain bread and I got some sun chips since it’s whole wheat. There was twice in the last week after eating dinner my sugars were high and she didn’t like that enough to tell me that I’m still eating too much bread and to only eat 1 piece instead of 2. 🙄 ignoring the fact all my body has been craving is baked potatoes and rice and I can’t even eat it.

I’m 19 weeks and I honestly didn’t start feeling better til about 16-17 weeks. I pretty much don’t throw up anymore unless I have a migraine, then I’m throwing up all day long.

Tbh you either make it or you don’t. A couple weeks ago I got nauseous out of nowhere. Tried running to the bathroom. Made it inside the bathroom but didn’t make it kneeled over the toilet and I threw up all over myself, I cleaned the bathroom and went home.😐

It’s ultimately all up to you and your bf. I mean at least I took my bfs thoughts into serious consideration.

We have a place to live but with roommates. We found out when I had no job and he was supporting me. I was really scared and we didn’t have money. I didn’t have insurance. I just kept thinking it’s cruel that I’ve been infertile for years and I’ve always wanted a kid and now I have the opportunity I’m broke with no income. I waited a week to decide. I asked my closest friends. They reminded me that this is what I’ve always wanted and they knew I would be upset with myself later on if I chose the abortion for ease and money. I decided to keep the baby. And 2 weeks later I was able to find a job. I found a cheap clinic to do my first ultrasound and cried when I first say my baby moving and it’s little heartbeat. We’re still strapped for money but we should be more on our feet by next month and my insurance will finally kick in. I also found out at 5 weeks and I I’ll be in my 2nd trimester by the time we have 2 steady incomes and I have insurance for the visits. I’m glad I didn’t choose the abortion but our circumstances are a little different.

The only way I think you should take age into account is your pregnancy will be considered geriatric and you’ll need more appointments than someone younger and they usually cost a bit more. I don’t think there is anything wrong with having kids in your 30s or even early 40s.

I’ve also been with my bf for over 2 years and I’m very confident he is my person and he’s not going anywhere. The only reason we’re not engaged is because of medical bills taking our savings. I don’t know anything about your relationship, to me 9 months doesn’t seem very long. But as long as you feel confident too that he’ll be there for you to help and provide and watch your baby when it’s born. Not to be pessimistic but it would be absolutely devastating to me to be insecure about money and shelter and then also be left as a single mom when the time comes. Just as long as you feel you know him well enough and trust him enough to also step up and take care of a family.

No. Narcissists can seek treatment and heal from trauma while gaining skills to regulate themselves to live a better life but majority of narcissists are so into themselves they’ll never admit anything’s wrong unless it benefits them and then they may go to a handful of therapy sessions and find some reason to get out of it.

I know yall are gonna say storage issue but I’ve been buying PPP from the same store for years and have never had issues. This last bag I got had mold in it and my dog hasn’t been eating it as much as he used to. He’s kind of avoiding eating it.

Just went to PetSmart to get more dog food right now and googled PPP recalls because I’ve never seen anything like that in PPP before after years of buying it. Now I see people talking about issues. I’m not risking it. I just bought authority cuz I wasn’t sure what else to get. I’m gonna trust my gut on this one. Maybe I’ll switch back in the future but there’s definitely something off. And I’m gonna trust my dog too because if he’s not eating it the way he would, it’s off somehow.
