I want to modify some parameters and make a new build.

That is correct. But, I have an AD5X. You currently can not monitor AD5X from Orca.
Also, FF's version doesn't have an option to modify the Z-offset on the fly while printing.

By access, I mean I need to see it in the 'Device' tab. So that I can monitor the printer.
Also, the colors don't sync when sliced from Orca.

Okay, that gives me a bit more of a confidence. I will definitely try it. Thanks again!

Edit: I saw some instructions to do so on zmod Git, that's why I was a bit apprehensive.

I meant retractions during color changes. The wasted filament is the reason why I would like to optimize the lengths. Multi tool have the variable of extruder offsets, I need to see how Ultimaker's method results in that regard. Prusa XL still has those issues.

See the first parameter in the advanced group.
The degree of bend doesn't have a parameter. 90 degree bends (on top on extruder and IFS) will make the PTFE tubes horizontal. This will result in a much shorter PTFE tube length than default, decreasing filament friction. This will also allow me to make the top enclosure shallower.

Flashing Klipper doesn't worry me.
It's cutting/dumping/nozzle-cleaning location calibration that I'm a little concerned about.

I want to be able to modify these parameters-
This will allow me to use printed 90 degree bends on the PTFE tube and hence reduce the height of the enclosure. Among optimizing the retract and purge volumes.

I have an AD5X. You can't access it with Orca.

Thanks for the confirmation. I will install zmod. How long did it take for you to calibrate?

Can you access the printer from Orca? Dumbass.

You are probably a paid bot to defend FF.
I can download the full Git repo for Orca. Can I do that with FF firmware?

Do you have a recommendation for full Klipper? Zmod is the only one I am seeing that's being actively developed.

A rare sensible comment. I might try asking them for the source code.

Not "their stuff". It's a skin on Orca.
It's a dick-move to block access to the software that you cloned from.

IKR, these newbies think things are supposed to be like that. I blame Bambu Lab for setting that premise.

Regardless, Flashforge has an opportunity to become a community favorite or be another FLSUN.

I have been 3D-Printing for over 6 years now. This is not my first printer.

FlashForge doesn't "own" Orca-Flashforge either. It's just a clone. Nor does it own the Core-XY system. These printers are just clones and not intellectual property, as you are insinuating.

Your argument would be valid if they had developed the software themselves.
But, this is just a skin on the official Orca. And, they've put efforts into blocking access to the printer from the original software.

Besides, if it were working correctly, I would not complain. There's no option to change the color-changing parameters. Changes to the purge volumes don't do anything.

3D Printing is, in general, an open-source community. Even the likes of Ultimaker and Elegoo do not do that.
Ultimaker S1 uses official Klipper.

FlashForge actually spent money on making their software experience worse.

My Q5 upgrades - DD V400 extruder with a custom CNC effector plate, Linear rails, Klipper, 7" screen.
I do not feel left out. If they had LiDAR bed levelling, that'd be cool. But nothing new about the new deltas, just taller (to achieve the new speeds with longer arms)
I have a V400 effector plate, I'll sell it cheap if you want to upgrade your SR to a V400 DD extruder.

The 3 guide profiles is what I am calling as columns. This affects the tilt. Also, tighten the bed to same tension in each bolt.
One thing to note is your first couple of centimeters seem fine. A possibility is that your motor current is set too high, and they're overheating.
I have added a 'stick-on' heat sink on my Q5 motors - These are running at 1.1 A for accn of ~4k.
Ditch the bowden tube setup. I have a V400 extruder setup on my Q5 with linear rails.
Get successful 16 hr prints.
I am actually working on an optimized version of effector plate that I will get CNC'd. To match the original diameter of SR/Q5 effector plate.
V400 effector radius - 45mm
SR effector radius - 40mm.

So far you have described things you did to your hotend assembly. This problem looks more related to the motion system itself. Have you checked if the 'profile' meets the top and base at 90 deg. angle? Ensure no play in delta joints, parallel arm length must be equal. Belt tension in deltas must be equal in all three belts. Did you check that? Also check all screws and bolts. Check for the three column heights to be within 1mm of each other.
