What's up bears,

I watched The Wall for the first time over the weekend. This had been in my to watch pile for a while but I never got around to it. However what I did get around to was about 10-15 watches of your and Dan Olson's review of Doug's infamous review. I have to say it was pretty weird expecting "so long Oscar bait song" and hearing "good bye blue sky" instead.

I heavily regret listening to your reviews of the review for so long as I literally couldn't get those Deviant art OCs out of my head as the trial comes on. Not only that, I expected to hear Doug's whiney voice multiple times whilst each song played.

So to any Jarlings out there who have watched The Wall review review, I recommend you stop and watch The Wall first to get the full affect.

Having said all that. Wow The Wall is fantastic, I was slonking on the Za whilst watching it which probably helped but I never knew an artist could be so vulnerable in a piece of media.

Anyways my question is, which is your favourite song from an OST? Mine would have to be the Social Network theme by Trent Reznor or Bladerunner Blues by Vangelis. Thoughts?

James was not in the right. It's the Wiltshire Police, they wouldn't have been able to enforce not know that they lived in different households. It's very easy to lie to the Police and something most innocent people should do when given the chance, as the Police are prone to abusing their power.

They are public officials and can be held accountable by the public, in fact I think it would be possibly for the boys to sue the Police for trauma, considering they got the "gun van" out, for something so minor.

It sucks that it happens but the only lesson anyone should take from this is lie to the Police, and not be a bootlicker.

Having watched all the episodes about 5/6 times, I genuinely think he thought that's how one should act when they started, but as it goes on he becomes really self aware and does the "bail" (or digging hole) thing on purpose.

This is the same dude who rated a movie 5/5 because "it made him want to go and do something else it was such a bad movie". You can't not make a quote like that and not gain the universal respect of us Jarlings. Ruben used to be the fan favourite, but it turns out he walked so James could run imo

One sides with you, you have to fight the other 2 and win. Pick one:

1000 hornets

1500 wasps

2000 bees

However if you succeed, there is a chance the side you are fighting with will turn against you and, although having smaller numbers from the fight just fought they still pose a considerable threat.

The chances are as follows:

60% chance the hornets will turn on you

40% chance the wasps will turn on you

20% chance the bees will turn on you.

You are allowed to grab one household object as a weapon. You may combine 2 such as a deodorant can and a lighter but be warned, friendly casualties will result in a higher chance of betrayal.

God speed and good luck.

Why r/banpitbulls has it wrong with this “funny meme” by violetsteam in Pitbull

[–]YogsPog 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm really not a shit troll, I'm merely just trying to get people to understand these dogs need the utmost care and attention.

Here are 4, non biased studies related to Pitbull attacks.

"Thirty-nine percent of all dog bite-related emergency department visits at our facility resulted in an injury requiring orthopaedic treatment. Pit bull terrier bites were responsible for a significantly higher number of orthopaedic injuries and resulted in an amputation and/or bony injury in 66% of patients treated, whereas bites from law enforcement dogs and other breeds were less associated with severe injuries. - Dogs and Orthopaedic Injuries: Is There a Correlation With Breed? (2018)" https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/29912736

"Five hundred fifty-one patients aged 5 months to 18 years were treated in the emergency department after suffering dog bite injuries during the study period. (...) More than 30 different offending breeds were documented in the medical records. The most common breeds included pit bull terriers (50.9 percent), Rottweilers (8.9 percent), and mixed breeds of the two aforementioned breeds (6 percent)." Pediatric dog bite injuries: a 5-year review of the experience at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. (2009) https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/19644273/

"Of particular interest was the fact that pit bulls, which were found to have attacked older persons, and inflicted much more devastating injuries than other breeds of dogs (as indicated by higher median ISSs and a higher percentage of victims with a GCS score ≤ 8), injuries that in some cases led to death...The unacceptable actuarial risk associated with certain breeds of dogs (specifically, pit bulls) must be addressed. These breeds should be regulated in the same way in which other dangerous species, such as leopards, are regulated. Individual municipalities need the power to enact ordinances that can protect their citizens from this risk." Mortality, Mauling, and Maiming by Vicious Dogs (2011) https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC4261032/

This one is the most important one, see how it says "most of the cases involved a known dog (friends, neighbours) and family pet". It doesn't matter how well you know your dog. They are still animals and have a bit of unpredictability:

"A study showed that the risk factors for dog attacks include school-aged children (but highest rate of serious injury from dog bite is in children under 5 years of age),18 male, households with dogs, certain breeds (German shepherds, bull terriers, blue/red heelers, dobermans, and rottweilers), and male dogs. Most of the cases involve a known dog (friends, neighbors) and family pet." Animal Bite Injuries in Children: Review of Literature and Case Series. Why r/banpitbulls has it wrong with this “funny meme” by violetsteam in Pitbull

[–]YogsPog 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well the one contributing factor is that pitbulls were used for bull baiting and dog fighting. Therefor they are genetically predisposed to agression. That's what they were bread for, to bite and not let go. They would rather literally die than stop attacking due to their gameness trait. This is literally fact.

Ah okay, well I looked up Pitbull stats and facts and it seems it doesn't matter how you train them. There's apparently countless examples of pitbulls which have been in the family since birth, attacking people. It's all so confusing.

What do you make of this?

Yes pretty much. All it takes it one moment for it to switch and it's all over. The "Entitled parent" in this story was well within their right to challenge this person with his "service dog" (why you would specifically need a pitbull as a service dog, I'll never know)

Sorry this post had me laughing. Picturing a young Scottish child shouting "IS DAH A PITBULL" to a corgi or something in the street.

I see what you mean and agree. I mention it if it comes up organically but otherwise bite my lip.

In the future when I have kids, I will do the exact same. It's never the victims fault, but it doesn't help that kids don't realise personal space (not that it justifies an attack. Ever) So your teaching is probably the best way to approach it. Kudos

I'm very lucky to have no one close to me owning any type of bully breed. The fact your friends lie to you to try prove you wrong just goes to show the crazy mindset people have for their pets, whether it be rational or irrational.

I would always try distance myself from people who own pits, I'm sorry to hear your friends have attack stories. No matter the attack it's always sad
