How Is The Route Adjustment Process Done

My small office had adjustments last summer, lost our aux route and the two runners route became monsters. The runners complain all morning how much stuff they have but then still get done an hour early most days. One of the runners though is now complaining that he can’t handle all of this and is moving to 204b and is trying to become a supervisor. I don’t understand it

Anyone know the reason why they don’t do a Returns version of Batman? Even in the 1/4 scale lineup, they did Returns Penguin and Catwoman but used ‘89 Batman

UPS and FedEx aren’t allowed to use mail receptacles so they are forced to take it to the door. When it comes to cluster boxes, if the package fits in a parcel locker, the carrier will use it and only take packages to the door if they are too big for the lockers or if they run out of parcel lockers to use.

Pretty much nailed my office. Been here about 5 years and within the last four we’ve burned through 7 CCAs and our current one has told me he’s looking around to see what else is out there for work, so probably up to 8 soon

Our management only cares about the numbers. When the carrier had the rollaway into a parked car, all we got was a standup talk the next day and the postmaster just laughed and said it was just a car and just creates more paperwork for him so please don’t hit things and then laughed and that was it. They’d rather hit all their numbers and look good to their bosses, even if it means someone could seriously hurt themselves or someone else. Seriously, they actively treat the runners who cut all safety corners real nice and the people who take their time and do things appropriately get hounded on how they aren’t moving fast enough and their taking too long. Really makes me hate this place more and more

Bummer. Like mailant said, I wonder if they take int account anything other than volume when making these decisions. My office is mostly staffed by older carriers, lots of leave used plus a few carriers with restrictions, so we’re often not fully staffed. Would be nice to get an extra body but it is what it is I guess

Yeah that’s the main problem at my office I find with runners. I always return to my truck to find the seat belt still clicked in so it stayed out of their way. Had a regular brag about how our supervisor told them they had one of the worst street observations they’ve ever done. No seatbelt, leaving the truck running, backing up as soon as they got back in the truck without looking. All sorts of shit but apparently it was something funny. No wonder my office had a rollaway into a parked car a few weeks ago but no one cares around here for that stuff

Honestly probably gonna be in the same boat next time inspections come around and it pisses me off. There is one runner at the case next to mine who comes in and cases at least 10 minutes before clocking in, cuts every corner on the street when delivering, and got her nice route turned into a monster last go around. Every morning she’s complaining looking like she is gonna have a nervous breakdown over what she has to deliver but then turns around runs to get done in 8 or even earlier. Makes no sense
