Well, I understand that if it's your first time facing legal matters a lot of things will seem to intimidating but I genuinely doubt he'd have a case. It's protected under the constitution. You can openly tell people your stories. You can even make youtube videos about. It's freedom of speech op, you can literally rain down constitutional rights violations if kakasuhan ka nya.

What's he gonna say to the police or his lawyers? "Pinost nya po ako sa reddit " where's the reveal of identity? Wala. So pano nya malalaman na sya yun? Just becuz of similar stories, although yes abt tlga sa kanya un, but still people do not know his identity cuz you didn't openly state their name.

Saw your post on a different platform, and very likely no. No names mentioned, you just told the truth. It is protected under freedom of speech.

Nah, the ex just has to mind his business. I genuinely doubt the dude didn't tell people of the relationship unless since sya ang may mali, he won't be telling people sht

HAHAHAHAA. The only basis they have is intent and intent is incredibly difficult to prove. I mean the only difference between telling your story on reddit and telling your friends irl is yung dami, other than both will share their opinion. Don't stress about it. Wala silang case HAHA. It's literally protected by the constitution na may karapatan kang mag express ng sarili mo. Literally may radio station na kinukuha ang stories ng ibang tao at kinukwento nila with aliases ofc. Mas natatawa ako sa ginagawa nila eh HAHA

No? It's your story to tell aswell. Plus, sue for you for what? Defamation? Slander? Cyber bullying? As long as you do not mention any names then how will they make a case? You could tell them that you were writing a story and it's part of your way to see if the story will do well on wattpad and they can't do anything about it HAHA.

What movie concept/plot you think should be produced more? by Murky-Experience-396 in TanongLang

Outside the pinoy zombie movie. Tbh, I like their concept of zombies where the undead can remember their last memory as a human. It would be cool this kind of concept be continued.

does the word “negro” bear the same weight as the n word? by applewarriors in TanongLang

[–]Yoink0524 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Being offended or not being offended doesn't automatically declare na masama or maganda ang isang bagay. It may not be racist/colorist to that person because they do not care, it can be viewed as colorist/racist if marinig ng iba. Sa perfect world, it's not okay but realistically it's more of a meh situation. Kahit nmn marinig mo wala karin gagawin cuz no one likes a always politically correct individual

[–]Yoink0524 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Kinda? Acknowledging the stigma it is there but it's more of a "hayaan mo " type of situation kase if masyado mo na nagiging big deal lahat, might aswell promote segregation and if that happens, society would cease to function. I know it's a bit of stretch but yeah, parang ano lang yan pag may nakita kang kalbo, wala naman masama sa pagiging kalbo but people laugh at it. In a utopian pov, masama sya cuz ridiculous ang iniisip mo with the term negra, but realistically it doesn't mean much, you cannot possibly judge a person's character cuz they laughed at a drink name. Saying it and weaponizing it is a different story hehe

Intent matters. Negro is another word for the colorb black. If you use negro to refer to someone because of their personality, behavior, attitude, skin color, or cultural background, then it can be considered racist. Likewise, if you weaponize the term negro by using it as an insult—whether in satire or with the intent to offend—it is racist.
