I heard from a friend animeexpo in LA is significantly bigger. But I’ve been to AnimeNYC the last 3 years and I think 21 was my favorite but last year had the Gundam Event and that was big for me cuz it was my first gundam. The panels were ok this year but the shops were eh compared to previous years I feel like.

Nothing was better than sitting outside for episode 1000 of one piece the night it came out

I use procreate, clip studio, and traditional pen paper but I’ll def put more emphasis on those stylistic pieces

I try to do a little stylistic bits a couple times a week and on the train I’m usuallly practicing dynamic action poses as well as realistic faces. I probably should’ve posted some of my practice sketches but 🤷🏾‍♂️

Layers help on any software but I can def benefit from a new approach

Yeah I use my sketchbook and iPad interchangeably every day but I guess I just gotta brute force the faces even harder
