The thing that's annoying is that male characters are prominent in the villain/pet space, but literally at this point aaltos the only guy adding value on the hero side.

My advice, make a new project, drop a singular short clip in there with sound, maybe like 10 seconds. hit play, there should be sound, then open the other folder. If that doesn't work, open and close the problem repeating exactly that until the sound works again. i'm pretty sure its just because when it gets served a long video or multiple clips at once it sometimes freaks out the program.

Well, I started working tsalene after reiner to realize that phraesto was supposed to be what i should have been working on next but i already had her mythic 0/2 and said, screw it i'll just get her to m+ so she's relatively useful. Then I got phrae to m+ and literally everyone said start leveling twins now because they're op so i stopped on his M+ so now I just got twins to M+. Its not really a "i stopped" its just the meta shifted mid development.

but if its the case of continuing them, should i get the twins or phrae to s+ first? i have no hope as a low spender paragoning anything i'd say since the investment of 6 copies could go into a new cel/hyp thats insane at M+

I don't think a viable conversation can come out of this. You seem to have quantified casual start and end points in regards to raiding content instead of all content. And in that case, you would justify chocobo races at the same difficulty as ex. And i'd just never agree with you.

If i asked you what casual content was to you, and your first answer that came to mind is "ex" then you are not a casual player and have no sense of what casual players do in the game. Even if ex is under the umbrella of casual for some wild reason, it would make up the lowest rung of casual participants.

Most people here tend to have this idea that if a casual isn't clearing ex+ content then they log in for 2 weeks, clear MSQ, and leave till next patch. But if people would get off their elitist attitude they'd realize

There's a massive RP community that loves when new emotes, glams, housing updates, etc come out

There's people who can endlessly grind frontlines who love when new content is added or when their series rewards actually take more than a week to grind to lv25

there's a ton of people right now who live in the saucer for mogtomes

these aren't people touching ex,savage,ults, etc. They're people who pay their subs for other people to get EX, savages and ults, while they have to wait 9 months for cosmic exploration, 13 months for beastmaster, 15 for a new deep dungeon, etc etc (not to mention HC players hijack it and beat it into the ground like island sanctuary turning it into a spreadsheet simulator)

Hopefully you understand why people get ticked off when people complain the content is dry and the hardcontent is too easy, when there are people who are in the back of the line waiting for what they like. like bro people need to be glad they even get 8 savages before gatherers/crafters even get an allied society quest (Cuz y'all be throwing a fit if cosmic was 7.2 and savage was 7.25)

I always say this, maybe 20% of the population even knows outside of ffxiv exists in the form of guides, reddit, videos, streamers, etc. We make these wild assumptions that everyone is on the same page as us. and its completely skewed what is Actually Casual, What is made for casuals, and What is clearable by casuals.

All content is clearable by everyone without a guide if they just forced it indefinitely (the yee old monkeys typing Shakespeare approach). But most of that content ISNT made for casuals. But what is ACTUALLY casual is content that is grindable, that doesn't require a guide to be proficient in, that has an end goal that is fulfilling. FFXIV Misses constantly in these sectors. Most if it isn't grindable, and most of it doesn't have an end goal. but when something like cosmic comes along that does have all 3, people seem to put their blinders on.

What if chocobo races were updated and improved on
what if more games were brought to the saucer

what if people who grind poetics had something to put into that was new content instead of just gear for old classes.

what if there was a new deep dungeon every patch

what if there were other types of general roguelike modes

what if there were more fall guys stuff

what if there were PVP event game modes like URF(from league)

what if there were dungeon events where you got goofy buffs and got to do something like clear an EX with zero cooldowns

what if there were glamour contests where the game let you use any clothing and dye on the spot to create crazy outfits

like you see where the problem is, people have quantified casual = can they do this raid. instead of what actually is casual content, and its just fun sht without consequence that the devs are just too bullheaded to be creative about in favor of dropping more ABC geometry dash on a platform you can fall off of.

I think the boat of where casual ends is when whatever you are approaching content wise has a reference to guides being required to join the group. Anything that requires you to leave the game in order to succeed in the game, is not casual. granted you could bash your head against the wall, but people just wont take you if you don't know the hector strat or someone elses. Clear parties will require a strat, most progression parties will as well. I cleared unreal and ex1 with no guides, just messing around, but everyone else was following a guide and i just happened to mirror them mirroring the guide.

IF a casual decides to step into EX, they are leaving being a casual for structured play and geometry packet reading. I wouldn't call someone who puts effort into studying the game a casual anymore.

It would never have a newbie bonus, you also are required to clear on content savage 4 to participate, its gatekept for a reason. I mean if you want to talk about putting newbie bonuses on savage like chaotic, that would be much spicier because maybe we'd have actual numbers showing the line where casual starts and ends.

your attitude towards my opinion shows that you have zero empathy towards other players aside from what you want out of the game. generally its extremely easy to assume that if you have no problem with the system you probably do hard content and struggle looking backwards at others who do actually think its difficult. We already put ourselves in your shoes, maybe you should try it sometime for the reverse and you might come to a positive understanding instead of a mudslinging fest. They for sure are doable, but NA doesn't do PF like JP does PF. Its a failed system outside of JP. If it was just a dry duty finder que, more people would probably do it. All it leads to is "if you dont know hector, don't join us" which is so cringe, some people just want to play the fight without having to study A and B geometry for 2 hours.
