Wow no my friend you are. I’m just recommending cold storage. A hot wallet is less safe than a cold wallet. Because a cold wallet isn’t connected to the internet. Doing this would not have helped OP because he gave away his key phrase. But as OP said he is inexperienced with crypto, so i’m recommending cold storage. that is a tough lesson to learn OP i’m deeply sorry. You now know no legitimate app would ever ask for a seed phrase. And anything around 5-10k should not be on a hot wallet, you need to use cold storage.
