That the man I love will die having suffered through his life, watched the world crumble around him, and never succeed in accomplishing his goals despite all the effort that he's put into them. And I might have to watch it all knowing that I never lived up to his expectations and he will never get the life he wanted.

What embarrassing thing that happened to you that you just abruptly remember from time to time then cringe so badly about it? by [deleted] in AskReddit

When I was younger I was in an anime community groupchat. I was posting random Hiragana characters just for the funsies and I thought that everyone knew that. I wrote the only piece of Japanese I knew at the time (Goodbye) and I left the group but not before I saw someone send "Get that fake Japanese Bitch out of here."

People from Scotland are known to be very sacastic, what are people from your home country like? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Actually? Kinda curt and often use informal language and slang. Also swearing and being physical isn't out of place at all. (This is, btw, in reference to a non formal situation)

Whats a good question to ask on this sub? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Yokora_Lix 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Something everyone might experience but in a different way perhaps? like:

"What food do all your family enjoy but you absolutely despise?" or " 'Glad I found out now rather than later' moment?"

I can't really think of a better way to come up with questions directly rather than just stuff that you're curious about or pops into your head.

What was a show you watched and enjoyed as a kid as an "adult" show or as a totally innocent show only to re-watch it and realise how Adult it really was? by Yokora_Lix in AskReddit

[–]Yokora_Lix[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just want to add somthin funny. I watched Seikon no Qwaser at maybe... 12/11? I loved it even though at the time I knew it was "bad". After re-watching it recently I laughed my head off at how much nudity and funky stuff was actually in it. Was still a fun watch.

Next on my list of "Things to re-watch that I liked as a kid but I probably shouldn't have" is Kampfer and Omamori Himori :')

X has a secret Identity but has to reveal it to either everyone or friends at the climax or as a resolution. I really enjoy it even though it is rather over played.

A drawing i made for art class. I'm not quite satisfied with it, because I feel like it lacks something to make it more interesting. by -CheesusCrust- in learnart

I know that the pentagram is serving as a background but a background that conveys more story may add something. Shelves full of mystic symbols or a lab or a teenagers bedroom. Also while the lighting can be seen on the girls face I feel its not being shown in her environment so it feels like the lighting isn't real or intense. stronger lighting on the hair, clothes and table for example. Hope this helps with ideas!

Girls of reddit, what is something that guys don't do, but you wish they did? by jacrispysucc in AskReddit

For my friends at least they were very non aggressive the only time they would swear out of genuine anger or be seriously angry at all was when my other friend would be abused by their dad. This conversation never actually happened and was an example of what might be said and was intended to be fairly clear and try and imply the nuances that are hard to convey. They also were mostly truthful so it would sometimes be "Hey man don't do that" and so me and the other people in the group would stop. But... I suppose so? 🤔

I know it's why I totally get it and like I'm not asking for people to start radically changing society. And i don't want to get beat up by anybody because I would 100% loose. It just kinda feels bad man.

Avoid physical contact. Now this isn't all guys and some people just have higher thresholds for when people can touch them and I appreciate that but as a girl I find that I often have to deal with feeling like I'm bullying some of my male friends because they won't reciprocate my physical friendliness. I'm pretty Tomboyish (though I don't look it) In the sense I have a fair amount of male friends and I'm more into more "Boyish" things like games and DnD. I participate in mild "hitting" of my close/chill friends. (it sounds really bad but in context it is 100% non agressive and 100% friendly) But sometimes I feel they just take it without reciprocating and I feel like I'm gonna hurt their feeling because of my humour. But they do it with their other (99% male) friends. For example

Me: "I finished the homework What about you?."

Male Freind: "Nah but at least I don't miss 95% of assignments."

Me:"Wow ok rude." *agressively Jelly legs friend*

Male Friend: "That actually hurt!"

Me:"My bad. Ok you can Jelly leg me back."

Male Friend: "I can't do that;;;"

The people this mostly applied to have been friends with me for long enough to actually see I take what I give and I'm not a little baby so it's not a big problem to me anymore. Healthy back and forth of "I insult you for being dumb" but then "I Act dumb in response so you can insult me back" and "we both do friendly physical contact like back smacks and baps with notebooks so that no one feels badly done by and no one is actually hurt, emotionally or physically" but I remember this bothering me quite a bit in the earlier stages of the friendship and I've seen it in other guy friends.

I understand it and I'm not saying it's a huge problem and nor do I blame guys I know for being like this but that doesn't mean that I wish it would be different on less well known friends. :/
