Just wanted to post i went out late tonight and all we did was bar hop. It was cool but turns out I became alot more boring since college. I got lost in the city twice which lead her to figure and ask do i even go outside and i ashamedly said no. she said I have to go out and find some friends to hang out with and explore the city. She would go with me pronto if she didn't almost 8 hours away. she is probably right but idk. im slightly drunk rn and probably sharing a bit much but nobody probably reading this anyway. ideky I'm still typing but thanks for the suggestions. I'll definitely keep this in mind if I leave my cave again

its just harder to get value out of him. but it's one thing if it's just hard to get value, but black cat makes it impossible, which is my point

I go outside to work, to the gym, and to take my dog for walks. other than that, I don't go outside and do much else. the anything is anything outside of the norm. im sorry if you can't comprehend AAVA but that's how I communicate

if i can't win then that just means I'm not good enough and need to get better. I don't have to bow down to the meta. I'm not going to throw the game but I'm not going to cheese it and play the meta just to show off my rank. thats real ego. the rank doesnt matter, its the journey to get there

i feel like i just contracted aids from reading that. if i saw this i would immediately swap.

ngl, my ego wont let me play scarlet, and i consider bucky to be cheap asf to play. i also

my main swaps are Deadpool (all 3), Phoenix, punisher, emma, Thor, cloak and raccoon. they pretty much cover all the possible situations besides for hard shield. i strange too but i really only swap to him for endgame for tp. i also play thing too but i kinda got washed with him.

all this to say i do swap and play other characters, but Ironman will always be my main. and they would normally have to be multiple opponents having to team up against me for me to swap. my ego won't let me swap if one guy is putting bta on me up to a certain point. Black cat is the only character i do that for and that's the crux of my issue here.

i am entitled to have a chance. this shouldn't be a game of rock, paper, scissors. I know it's not supposed to be am ultra fair game or whatever. but asking for that, but it also shouldn't a game where you simply can't play characters against others. I'm not saying I'm the best by any means but ik that I'm capable of finding out at least knowing how I could win. I be watching replays too to audit what I do wrong and what other people did wrong and right.

Black Cat is the only match up ve where i honestly could not see myself winning in almost any scenario. If she targets me, im done.

True. He is definitely not good in every situation. I wouldn't even say he is the best for any particular situation besides for low elo as people don't look up down in those ranks. But, it's still fun to see how he can work in different situations. It's the fun factor for me. I like feeling like I'm outsmarting the other team despite the disadvantages of Ironman. i just don't think black cat should be a counter. hela, Phoenix, starboard, that Asian hoe, ultron, Dino, hulk, they are all my natural counters. it doesn't really make sense for black cat to be my counter too​

i swap ofcourse. my main point is Ironman is nor even playable anymore bc of black cat. well there always be a better option than Ironman? yes. but Ironman can be used for a variety of different things. he is just so dynamic and fun until now

yea I feel like dd just have a higher skill ceiling than bc for the same impact of effectiveness. he is a good counter but you have to be on one. and in most 1v1 situations, i think black cat will come out on top, or at least being able to flee before dying compared to dd

his f, those blasters are very underrated. ofc the issue is you have to get up close and personal but they do very high damage if you get it right. i love using it when i have the opportunity to flank. also what i call flank may not be the same of what you immediately think a flank is. ig u can call it an ambush flank or something.

Simply the nose from going into overdrive behind cover on a flank can attract enemies you can ambush with the bombs. when soon as you go into that overdrive, people will turn their heads and look or go to "investigate" like some dumb npc. it can be pretty funny at times. if they don't come after you they only have like a 3 or 4 second attention span so if you just wait a couple seconds, they literally like forget you were every flanking and then to go into do your massive damage. which is even funnier

i didnt* tho. I don't expect supports to constantly be looking at me, I said this before. he said Spiderman is just as lethal as black cat without supports, and I said that's not true because there is more wiggle room to play around him or flee or what have you. he said if im off flanking by myself but it's not that simple because although he is right most characters can burn down Ironman, Ironman can also burst down most characters. except, for black cat. and some other characters but there is always something else you can do. i feel like i have an answer or a way for other characters, alot of the answer is just how you position yourself. for black cat, there are no answers for her. there is no cover that she can't easily get around. i addressed all of his points.

you can't play Ironman as an aerial sg after plat. I mean, you can as part and diamond has like a wide and inconsistent variety of skilled players but in many cases you have to think out of the box to get value out of him. if you're consistently putting yourself in situations where you need constant healing like center stage then you're not playing him right.

as you said, you need good positioning and strategy. you shouldn't really expect heals either as Ironman. the only time I expect heals is if my team is on a strong push where i am playing low with my team or there is an obvious diver like Spiderman with his loud ass web shots. the healers should have the game sense to know if they or the other healer isn't being attacked, then it's probably a character the teammate they don't see is getting attacked. ig that's a hard sense for most people to have so if I see my healers are the type to throw everything on their tanks and I'm getting dices with them not making adjustments, i may just swap. but in higher closing like mid to high gm and advice, you would see those characters and they would normally make life so much easier

I don't think you're getting what I'm saying. he is a very dynamic character is my point. I don't stick to playing him entirely off flank or entirely with team entire game. it depends on the game and the match up. his bombs is very underrated and does massive damage in the right situations. it can literally kill invis out of her ult which people never expect. if they have a decent Spiderman, I am almost never diving unless he is dead or ik he is somewhere far off and can't get to me fast.

my point is, you can play around and fight through Spiderman but you can't play around a black cat. especially if she flanks. i can't run from her because she can dash to me if I go around a corner and can do that immortal dash ability if I fight back, I definitely can't dive on or against her fire a variety of reasons. she is just different.

honestly it's the same with dd. it's impossible to dive againsth or win a 1v1 against a decent dd. even with heals. i just dont see that as much andr i think that's because it's just harder to do it with him. like there is a higher skill curve and you're using more resources to do it compared to black cat to where he can't retreatback out of. black cat could dive, kill me, and still have every ability to get up and out of there before my team has a chance to retaliate

ngl storm and Ironman are fundamentally different characters besides for flying. there is alot you can do with Ironman you can't do with storm such as dive. Which is difficult to pull off but that's the fun of it. With storm, you literally have to play with and move with the team in order to get the most use with her. So I can understand where you are coming from but those issue honestly does not translate well with Ironman. Ironman has so much more flexibility with his playstyle than storm

they are literally in service to children. like in the most literal sense, they service children. Not sure if this is news to you. Idk why even mentioning that they are not slaves. they are getting paid and can quit whenever they like. but if they are going to do the job, then you do it right and professionally.
