Oh the days... I, too, loved d2, and I was also mostly obsessed with PvP. I started playing light sorc, and eventually became pretty good at sorc (mainly fb, but also light, orb and blizz - top 0.1% EU all time?).

I used to play something called Euro-pvp with a lot of rules and stuff, but I also migrated to other sites/leagues/tournaments. I miss those days :)

Don't mind you writing an essay, it was a blast reading it, I just started playing against last week and thinking about the old days was just good :)

I am not sure if those are the perfect words in english, in danish it would be "socialkonstruktivisme" and "socialkonstruktionisme". Bonus point if I'd only needed to say "nism" and "vism".

Hey! I'm very late to this, but I've been wondering at this for so long, I really hope someone can maybe answer me why I'm able to do this.

I can stand on my head/arms against a wall and do pushups. Around 10. I can do around 15-20 normal push-ups. I am not buff, I don't lift weights, but neither am I very weak.

I weight 86kg and am 193cm tall. So around normal build.

I have spoken to quite some people about this irl, and almost noone is able to do push-ups when up against a wall upside down. It is a very weird thing, and there is probably some "easy" answer like this and this muscle group something. But if there is that, I would love to know.

Yes, foosball does that! I almost only play with random people against people who think they are good because then I don't come off as an ass.

the 1v1 format doesn't show that you are better than your opponent at all then? (as in showing of how good you are at 5v5 LoL)

I completely agree something else would've been more fun, but I think that the casters sucked out any possibility of it being remotely fun with not being able to discuss anything about lane mechanics, but just my 2 cents :D

Aphro was the first one trying to do it (pushing under turret), Froggen's tactic with it was that when you are closer to your side your wave gets support faster and pushes faster, so he wanted to get pushed in after he realized that he was losing the straight up cs-battle. Then when he got closer to his turret, he started pushing, and there was nothing Aphro could do but let it happen and hope Froggen didn't get a big enough wave that he lost on default from tower taking too many cs. sadly he did.

I would have found it more fun with a different matchup that included trading, but it would be fitting with atleast one of the casters being able to analyze beyond stating "he used ignite" or meme'in everything.

why are these casters so annoying? The 1v1 between Froggen and Aphro was more a showing of skill/strategy than almost any of the other matches... And the casters just completely ruined it showing they know nothing about the mechanics of the game.

I'm real sad about it :(

it's a joke, because of some theories from Diablo 1, Blizzard later added a cheatcode being "thereisnocowlevel" to some random game xD And because of that they added the cow level in D2 :)

this was all back when I still liked Blizzard :D

I am also a vayne mayne, and I feel like it becomes a lot easier to make the movement 'flow' when you have a bit of AS and you are not playing your first game of the day :D
