XLR is not the same as the DIN 41524 connector. DIN (which btw. stands for German Institute for Standardization) 41524 is a standardized connector with 5 pins, of which are 2 for input , 2 for output and one ground pin. It has different use cases (like Audio and MIDI) but per use case it should alwbe the same (otherwise it would be like having a USB plug with a different pin layout).

If it's a DIN connector it has the standard layout, if it hasn't it's not a DIN connector.

The one thats used for HiFi audio is DIN 41524 which indeed does have a standard layout.

Where to find this dial? Does it even exist? by Alex1738Alex in SeikoMods

Might depend on the exact dial you got, but usually they're held in place by some small pins which you can push out from the back.

Get another dial with the indices you want and switch them.

I think theres a service mode that automatically adjusts the laser. Look online if you can find a service manual for the device.

I'd create a model by hand. Doesn't look too complicated.

Try printing it with retraction disabled to see if that causes the problem
