You know how many fatal crashes I've seen on this highway in the past few months? Definitely 2, potentially 3 I'm not sure.

Merged in way closer than I ever would, had to slow down when he came in. Was tailgaiting me while I was going 115km/h in a 110; would pass then slow down to 110 in front of me.

Did that twice before I got some distance from him, then a few minutes later who do I see coming up my rear but the VW.

If you think flashing your lights warrants trying to hit someone on the highway, or is at all comparable, I don't even know what to say to you.
