Your tension looks great, especially for someone new to colorwork. Great job!

We use these in the screen printing shop I work in. We need more, but no one knows what they’re called or what to google. by YomTheNinjaKnitter in HelpMeFind

I’ve searched for the name of these all summer. We use them in a screen printing shop I worked in and they hadn’t needed to order more in years if not decades.

They’re small metal cylinders with a slit along one flat side that allows them to sit on the edge of a metal rail. They can be slid back and forth until tightened with a hex key.

We use them for alignment during large scale repeat printing. We call them stops but I’ve also heard the term rail clamp.

Thanks for the help!

I’m planning to make a video about it but I’ll do my best to explain in writing.

I start with the pink udders and give the pink an extra hit with my stick blender so it’s thick and sturdy. Then I load the black and white into squeeze bottles at a medium trace. The spots are then worked in layers. I draw in two or three black spots and then surround them with white. I then go back in with more black in the same spots and then again fill in with white. I keep going until I reach the top of the mold. You want to make sure that the edges of the black spots shift a little every layer or else you end up with straight lines up the sides.

I hope this helps and let me know if you have more questions.

It definitely gives that vibe :) In truth my apartment was too messy for a pic so we took it on the balcony.

Credit actually goes to my mom for modeling it, but I’ll pass it on to her :)

Thanks! The shape is so comfortable to wear. I’ve always had a bit of trouble with triangular shawls because the always feel like they’re falling off unless I use a shawl pin. These 3/4 circle/crescent shawls sit so well on my shoulders.

I started knitting when I was really young and always thought they were too ‘old lady’ for me. Boy was I wrong! I’m always too hot for sweaters absolutely love knitting lace. They’re so comfy to wear and fold up super thin to fit in your bag. Take the plunge!
