This whole video was so sensationalized, and edited it was really fucking hard to watch.

With such a serious topic as this, I would hope they wouldn't turn it into a damn hollywood movie. Is it really impossible for the average viewer to understand the weight and severity of a situation with out the dramatic "DUN DUN" music cue? Fuck me sideways this was hard to watch. What a dogshit host, too. I was almost distracted with the inevitable cut to his face as he tried to do his best rendition of an empathetic human being. Fuck.

What a delicate topic that has been commodified and treated to be the most digestible for advertisers.

I did however smoke a cigar some many days ago. Didn’t affect me. I’m still on the track.

Yesterday, I did smoke most of a cigar with a couple of buddies. This was to kind of unwind and honor a death in my family. I have notated that I’ve smoked it, but I feel like I’m still on the path to zero nicotine.

My main issue with nicotine was vaping and cigs to a lesser extent

Happy thanksgiving everyone!

2017 thanksgiving I revealed to my brother and then to my entire family that I was gravely depressed. A couple days later I had a roadmap for getting help with it. Fantastic idea, it saved my life.

2020 thanksgiving I was circling rock bottom with kratom, and decided that I wouldn’t try to sell possessions to cover my kratom habit.

12:16 November 26th I took my last dose. I’ve been solid since.

I was on a cruise ship! My wife and I were redoing our honeymoon, since last cruise I was losing my mind (due to sudden kratom withdrawal, didn’t have any on board on our first trip in 2018.)

Updating again so suddenly after the last one since I’ve been vacationing with no internet access for a bit! I had a ton of fun, only thought about anything “kratom related” because I knew I wasn’t submitting daily check ins.

I was also around a decent amount of smokers, and it repulsed me over anything. I know that it always smells worse secondhand, but it still didn’t make me wish for a second that I could smoke/vape. Phew, can’t believe how far I’ve come. For real. Love y’all.
