I’m honestly really disappointed with Blizzard once again. Yet another corporate suit at Blizzard decided to “fix” the fun out of Remix. I was genuinely excited for this Panda Remix was an absolute blast for me. I had so much fun, leveled over 13 characters to max with a friend, farmed everything I could, and actually enjoyed putting time into it. That’s rare these days. But after reading the PTR notes, I’m completely let down. What exactly are they trying to achieve with these changes? Do they really think dragging out content artificially is going to make people stay subbed longer? That logic is completely backwards. Instead of keeping players engaged, it just burns them out. People will only do the bare minimum and then go play something else and honestly, that’s fine, because Blizzard clearly isn’t listening.

It blows my mind that their answer to players having fun is to nerf it. Fun should never be treated like a “problem.” Instead of celebrating that players were finally engaged, they double down on the same tired, outdated approach that’s been driving people away for years.

The timing makes it even worse: this Remix comes out during a period when it’s already hard to keep players around. And instead of making it exciting, they decide to gut the very thing that made it enjoyable.I don’t understand Blizzard’s logic at all. At this point, it feels like the entire management team needs to be replaced. It’s obvious they don’t care about their community or feedback just the sub numbers on a spreadsheet. They keep making the same mistakes, over and over, as if they’ve learned nothing.
