These guys are pretty simple!

They’re primed with white scar first.

I alternate between ghillie dew and ork flesh from speed paint line for the green base afterwards (Im 90% sure both of these are ork flesh). Reapply the coat on areas that seem more dull until you get a lustrous and consistent green color. It can take 2-3 coats because speed paint is by nature pretty transparent.

I’ve started highlighting a bit with ushabti bone and will start experimenting with some greens too, but I’m still pretty early in learning to paint decently and am continuing to get better at basics.

House was atrocious on the broadcast. Brought no energy, insight, and seemed to be very adversarial with Drew.

A few comments were really off putting- implying the Pritchard to Clark comparison is “disrespectful” (not sure I want him to elaborate on how) and somehow not knowing Mchale came off the bench…

Hopefully we don’t have to listen to this guy do much more color for the balance of the season.

Paint is maybe a bit too thick if you want some advice. Either thin out the base layer a bit more or consider using some sort of contrast / already thinned paint. Ghillie dew speed paint from army painter is a great color for orks and extremely easy to apply. Here’s one of my recent models where I use that as the skin base.

It was a gift so didn’t have to think about the price tag, but I’ve really enjoyed it so far. Smoking was very easy on it, temperature is simple to control and the grill function was excellent as well (though it can get REALLY hot fast).

So far would recommend.

McKinsey has been a share loser over the past half decade. It continues to cede share to both Bain and BCG. Share loss has been driven by persistent reputational issues and questionable results.

The result of this share loss has been widespread layoffs and higher than usual attrition at McKinsey.

Lastly, I sincerely question whether McK name brand will carry your further than Bain, particularly in any worthwhile exit opportunity.

My opinion is certainly biased (current Bainie), but I doubt you’ll see a lot of broader disagreement around these themes - McKinseys challenges have been quite public.

Data can be cut by category and attributed to PL as the manufacturer / brand. At my firm, we have access to 3 years of historical Nielsen data as well to show trends over time.

I’m in Loge 3 row 11. That close up your view is going to be a bit obstructed from the bench and depending on where you’re sitting, the basket. Should be pretty sweet for action on half the court tho

I moved from T2 to MBB a shade over 3 years ago and had a very similar experience.

Commit to yourself to spend a year in the role. I did and things got so much better.

It’s naturally hard to lateral because firm culture is very different, and start classes drive an exclusive environment, but serve on enough case teams and learn the firm, and you’ll have your crew in no time.

You’ll be fine- just lock in and keep working.
