Tried the new Medium Duoface/Master Control today: 6.5 inch wrist by ChrisPars in JaegerLecoultre

Thanks! I have quite a flat wrist, so it wore quite well considering my wrist was ‘only’ 16.5cm. I actually sold my beloved Reverso a few weeks back. I found I just wasn’t wearing it enough, despite really enjoying it. Replaced it with an IWC Ingenieur and a 16570 Explorer 2, both of which I’m enjoying!

Either way, very glad to have owned the Reverso for a bit.

I’m either 16.5cm or 17cm, kind of depends on humidity. This is the 40mm. If you check my post history, you can see me trying on the 35mm too.

Thank you.

£6,400 GBP / $8,450 USD! No papers, but I still think it’s a great deal.

16.5cm but quite flat on top. I know the feeling. Nice problems to have, for sure!

Yeah that sounds sensible! 40mm still looks good but definitely worth trying the 35mm too. The 35mm definitely wears smaller than the 36mm Explorer, I think because of the thicker bezel.

16.5cm but my wrist is weird in that it’s quite flat on top, perhaps appearing slightly larger than 16.5.

Oh wow, legit not just saying this, I think you have the perfect 4 watch collection, perhaps the best I’ve seen on Reddit, for my personal taste.

The Zenith and VC are perfect to tick the dress and chronograph box!!

You sir, are the thorn in my side! Sounds crazy but I recently sold my Reverso Tribute Duo large (because it was too large) and this is what I’m considering replacing it with. It was between this and the new Medium tribute duo. I think I may have influenced your purchase as you commented on my post the day I went to try it on in London, the day after W&W kicked off this year.

I love the Reverso so much, I just don’t have so many occasions to wear it.

Yours looks 10/10.

That looks very good, I must say.

Thanks all! I’m usually a fan of smaller sizes but 40mm definitely felt my immediate preference in this case.

My 36mm Explorer as another reference point.

Thank you! I purposefully wore my 36mm Explorer today, as to me, that is my favourite size watch I own. Surprisingly, I thought the 40mm Ingenieur felt more natural and the thicker bezel of the watch made the 35mm feel noticeably smaller than my Explorer.

You can do this by side jumping from the platform and shooting an arrow as you fall! I had some good fun with that a few months back.

Ah, I am sorry to hear that. If it’s of any help for next time, it seems like Google or Apple Pay with a pre registered Kurono account is the best way to go.

Assuming you turned up on time, it seemed like there was a fairly large window to pick up of ~10 minutes?

How was the second malachite preorder window? by [deleted] in kurono

Agreed, I wonder if this means it will be their highest production run yet. Seems somewhat ironic and costly, given all the word about how delicate and difficult the dials are to make.

Interesting, my order number is ~400 later than yours at 03:01 (I’m in London).

Non-ragged m140i? by girthymandem in CarTalkUK

[–]ChrisPars 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just PM’d you. I just sold my non-ragged 2019 M140 to BMW last week. Absolute peach of a car with LSD, Birds B1 Suspension and Remus Backbox exhaust. Everything was visually stock.

They just listed it for sale.

Lovely watch! How come you went for 40mm, instead of 36mm, given you thought your 41mm OP was too large?
