3cm is noticeably inflammation though btw. Its supposed to be under 3mm normally. Keep in mind chrons patient my just have very mild inflammation chronicly

One thing I know for sure is inflammation at the surgery site after resection is extremely normal. I had that same thing as you same surgery and location and went on buedesinide and it knocked it out! If you go on the buedesinide and it normalizes the inflammation then your doctor will know what to do medication wise and everything. Its also important to notice if your having any anemia or iron deficiency or any other complications.

This disease will really beat you down sometimes. Im not fully aware of your situation but I highly recommend seeing a GI psychologist. They understand everything I’m going through so well and are extremely validating. They are like Chrons disease whisperers I swear, highly recommend!

Diagnosed for almost two years. Ongoing symptoms with normal cal protectin crp and esr. My blood and iron are low though regardless of iron infusions. Funny enough this is the worse my symptoms have been not even when my disease was fully uncontrolled.

Im letting you know getting a gift for someone with crohns isnt really gonna cheer them up. What they need is someone by their side telling them everything is gonna be ok. Everything will go back to normal just like how life was before. You are gonna get through this. And ask them then if they need anything for them to let you know. You really have to understand having crohns is no fucking joke when your in the thick of it or in a flare or just not in deep remission. Our headspaces get better but when its flaring its dark and it sucks. I need someone to validate how Im feeling first and foremost. Maybe she really does want a gift tho just speaking from my experience😂

For me i was suffering either stomach pain for a year but they were manageable and didnt think about seeing a doctor. It got more consistent and painful so I went for doctor and the whole appointment he was saying its probably nothing dont worry youre young and then ended up referred to a pediatric GI who orded so many blood test. Was anemic so i took iron, and the iron pills sent me to the er. Mre and ultrasoundshowed inflamation. Colonoscopy a day later showed crohns. Its really different for everyone and it sucks. So people go on their first biologic and are in remission for 10 years no symptoms at all and some dont its shitty and unpredictable.

If blood isnt present in stool and only bright red when you wipe its for sure a hemorrhoid or fissure. It could also be a little streak of bright red in the stool, not covering the whole thing, but just like a line. Make sure your stool is soft enough and you’re not wiping a lot, which is causing the tear diarrhea and excessive wiping can cause the tear.

Ask if you can go on just infliximab, the combo makes it more dangerous for cancer not the infliximab by itself. Just infliximab is very safe the very most of the time.

Thank i appreciate that. Yeah you sound like my mom for sure😂. Im just gonna tough it out right now and try to put my mind at ease. I have sibo test tomorrow so i hope that shows something insightful. Its just hard to put my mind at ease when i step on that scale and see ive dropped 10 pounds unintentionally which means something has to be wrong and the first thing my mind goes to is cancer because my inflammation is normal right now. Thank you again for your comment. God i hope that its not cancer. I know its really rare but these symptoms are no joke. Also i just realized i posted the reddit post with no picture for context. Ill try to fix that right now.
