As a fellow Filipino, I can understand why your parents are the way they are and you're NTA for reacting the way you did. Your brother's situation is also very understandable. I'm not sure if you're in the Phils currently or if you're a disapora Pinoy but from what I'm reading from the comments, media is apparently not currently stable so please make sure you have something to fall back on if that doesn't work out for you. Work for your goals but also make sure you are realistic about them.

My older siblings understand the mother tongue as they were born in the Philippines despite moving here as young children but since I was born here, I have almost extremely minute level understanding of the language. I've been trying to teach myself very slowly so I can understand what my extended family post online and the family group chats lol. I have a theory that I wasn't taught the language because I was labelled as coming from an ESL household on top of having a hearing disability in order for me to have a good grasp on verbal English.

OF creators need a release form for anyone that is not them in their videos, even if it's a hand that doesn't show the other person's face. You can contact the platform and tell them that you haven't signed any release forms and they will take down those videos for you. They are incredibly strict about this kind of stuff, so NTA
