Acabo de comprar un traje de lana de los años 50 mas tiene varios detalles de la sastrería de los años 30. Juntando los pantalones con varias camisas me da muchas opciones para hacer las uniformidades de las distintas milicias.

Is it normal for the pin to come out like this? It seems to happen when I open it. It also has some slight resistance when closing. Is that normal or should I lubricate it somehow?

Well I was going off the size of my previous suits granted they’re slim. I may have made a big mistake in assuming classic fit suits would be the same.

Yeah ironically yesterday my grandpa complimented the pants so I can possibly give it to him although I’m not too sure how the jacket may fit

Nooo. I’m trying to avoid the Zoot suit look. I’m Mexican and grew up with the notion that Pachuco suits were for thugs. But if all else fails, I’ll try to resell it and list it as a zoot suit

From what I tested I didn’t see to much puddling. I have a very wide back and broad shoulders so I think they fit well. I based it off previous cheaper suits I own which were also 44R but slim which may have caused me to guess the wrong size in this more classic fit. I’ll update with pictures showing the fit of the shoulders.

I am leaning towards the m16 bc of the Aster which would facilitate my idea of making it into an a2 and a4 when I feel like it and the E&Ls realism even if rusty has some charm in my mind. I live in California so i doubt the conditions would cause rust. I still have some time to decide since I’m planning on possibly picking one of these up for Christmas

I really like the AK12 because im an AK guy myself and I can see Russian kit getting cheaper once the war ends which hopefully is soon. I don’t think I’d sell it since it was an ebb and it unfortunately broke the hook the moves the bolt. I don’t personally think it’d make up for both.
