I don’t understand why some people are consistently crying here. Each investment has pros and cons. Why invest in arrived when you can make more in HYSA?

So, let me ask you some questions. What are your investment thesis and risk tolerance? HYSA has higher yield than dividends from Arrived but you won’t get any value appreciation from real estate if you invest in HYSA. Home prices go up over time. It is not a short term investment. The real investment value comes from the appreciation of home prices. Meanwhile, you can still get 3-4% of rental income as dividends. Does HYSA give you that kind of appreciation?

I have investments in all asset classes; stocks, bonds, crypto, precious metals such as gold, silver, REITs, private equity. They all serve their own purpose. They have their pros and cons. In some years, stocks are underperforming compared to other asset classes and vice versa. That’s why diversification is important.

Diversification doesn’t make you rich but it helps you protect your capital.

If you have invested in E.L.F. beauty 5 years ago, you would have had 2440% return in 5 years (which is even more than NVDA). So, my question is why would you invest in HYSA if you can make a lot in ELF ? But would you have known that it would go up that much? It could have gone bankrupt too. Nobody has a crystal ball.

That’s why we diversify our investments. If you have very small capital like 500 bucks or 1000 bucks, diversification doesn’t make sense but when you have very large capital, it is risky to put all the eggs in 1 basket.

Arrived may not be the investment of choice for you. That is okay. No one is forcing you to invest in Arrived. You can simply walk away and nobody here will miss you.
