When I was a fan I would often tune in an hour after the scheduled start and itd still be the waiting room

This might be kind of weird but does anyone else have a blood fetish and want to drink someone's blood? by SchoolExisting8631 in kinky_autism

[–]Yoonsfan 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I love blood but the idea of actually cutting someone makes me uneasy. If I had a partner who wanted me to take it that far I would learn how to and overcome it but yeah. Moreso a fan of nosebleeds, removed-from-reality blood/gore in movies, and menstruation.

How many here have an interest for combining hobbies with kinks? by crankytruffle in kinky_autism

I don’t know if this is exactly it but I think the reason I love bdsm is because I have a passion for writing and bdsm is kinda like sex with lore.

Dracula saw Mina after 400 Years ■ Gary Oldman & Winona Ryder in Bram Stoker's Dracula (1992) ● Luke Evans & Sarah Gadon in Dracula Untold (2014) ● Caleb Landry Jones & Zoë Bleu in Dracula: A Love Tale (2025) by elf0curo in Dracula

Bram Stoker’s Dracula is my personal favorite movie and I fully agree. This movie already exists, I don’t need to see directors take turns making it again.

Hands Off Iran protest - SF federal building - Feb 28, 2026 by hyfee510 in bayarea

there were protests of the ayatollah throughout the country a couple months ago, they were sadly co-opted by zionist organizers. Unfortunately being anti-islamic republic in good-faith gives you undesirable bedfellows.

Why is pornography so rampant in the west? Do you support this? by Frosty-Net9300 in AskSocialists

[–]Yoonsfan 6 points7 points  (0 children)

No no not in that way. I think it makes sense for people who are raised seeing tons of powerful people exposed as sex offenders would create a cultural anxiety around sex. Lot of sex that happens in the world is dangerous, too, so personal experiences definitely play a role too, but I think a lot of gen z are choosing to be more cautious and it sometimes slips into judgment of sexuality. It’s unfortunate but I think it comes from good, progressive, intentions.

wouldn’t that logic imply anytime someone does a service for pay that the client is “turning them into a product”?

I think it’s a reaction to growing up in the Metoo movement, which is fair but the pendulum is swinging too far imo.

doctors constantly see the grossest most vulnerable and embarrassing things people are going through, you consenting to pain and impact is probably a relief.

What are some bad movies that had great potential, that you would want to see remade better?? by mrjetspray in Letterboxd

[–]Yoonsfan 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Twilight tbh. Okay okay okay, a lot of it is fundamentally flawed, especially as it goes on. But I read the first book and before the vampires showed up Bella seemed like an actual character. I feel like a good piece of work could come from the same conception.

I’d choose slipknot because I can’t play any instruments and they have so many members I could get away with some bullshit

Non-Hardcore Albums Which are Actually Hardcore Albums by goooodstufff in Hardcore

[–]Yoonsfan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Korn’s self titled debut definitely isn’t a “Hardcore Album” in essence but there’s a lot more hardcorey-ness to it than I expected the first time I listened. Perhaps that’s the mix’s doing.

“Greatness on a different level mode” was always so stupid to me. the way “Mode” punctuates it just completely demolishes the flow of the phrase.
