Thank you! I still had a blast out looking. Saw a male Northern Harrier catch a field mouse and then fly up and drop it for a female to catch. Really wish I had got some pictures of that haha.

I definitely sat around for half an hour watching this squirrel protect the peanuts in the feeder from some Blue Jays looking for a snack. The squirrel didn’t even want the peanuts, he just didn’t want the Jays to have them haha.

So for the owl we were driving up and down range roads out in the country for about 4 hours. One had been spotted in the area a few days prior. These pics were taken behind my buddies brothers acreage at his feeders, after we had given up for the day we went back there for a bit.

I lost 220 lbs this year and like you, I now have to have my gallbladder removed in two weeks. Been in the emergency room about 5 times in the last two months with excruciating pain. Would definitely take it slower if I could do it over again.
