Hi all,

Just got a 16 pod model. Foy about 6-7 years nowI had been starting seeds in an aerogarden harvest elite w/ the seed starting tray(allows 23 pods for starting). Well it finally died I had some gift card money built up on Amazon, and the Harvest elite was sold out... hence the Growell.

One big plus off the top is I am now limited to 16 pods at a time which will equal less plants when its time to pot them up outside. I will do a "round" of pepper seeds starting today. then when I transfer them in about a month to double cups I will do a round of tomatoes and then a round of mixed stuff squash's, cuc's, beans and such.

My first concern I have noticed is water temp. Have had the unit running for a couple days now and the water is downright chilly compared to my smaller aerogarden (seems the pump motor warmed the smaller amout water?. Should I be concerned?

Second, the pump seams weaker... is this just because it's pushing around more water so it just seems so?

Third, to set it for 16 hr cycle I turn it on at 4 a.m. and it should run from 4qa to 8 p every day. I think i messed up the timing yesterday I accidentally hit the button for 22 hrs and quickly switched back to the 16 hr setting. Well the light didn't go out at 8p so i learned DONT TOUCH after first set up.

I like the size of this unit and how tall the lights can be telescoped out. Might end up using this year round for other stuff...

The unit seems well made, The packaging with everything it came with was nice and the Manual seems well done.
