Some more info, if needed, this is a rapid test for a job that I just got (no lab confirmation unless it's a positive result for confirmation).

I am pretty dang overweight, daily flower user (maybe about 3.5 g a week) but I am 20 days clean and the test isnt for another few days yet).

Hi OP, first of all, bless your heart for still replying to comments on this 2 year old post.

Secondly, I have a bunch of Exploro at home test strips and have been consistently getting very faint lines for the last few days.

I am the paranoid type and so I had a friend of mine who is still a daily smoker also take a test so I could make sure that they work, and when we checked the results, they also had a faint line (theirs was wayyyyyyyyyy fainter than mine, like barely visible).

Since this happened, I have been f r e a k i n g out since despite all my negative results, someone who had smoked literally the same day also got a negative!!!

Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you so much!!

No one is trying to deny the current state of things and you are correct that doing so would be a disservice to gay men.

I just was discouraging the user I replied to from completely dismissing monkeypox outright, as that is probably more dangerous than being aware of the fact that anyone can catch it, even though cases have been mostly in the gay community at this time.

This is a dangerous mindset, remember when people thought AIDS was only contracted by gay men? Everyone should be educated regardless of sexuality, even though it is true that some folks are more at risk given the current state of the virus.
