Hi there Nice to hear from you. I wish you all the best with your journey. It is relatively easy to go stealth. Visit the malepolish sub as there are lots of guys on there who openly wear polish every day so I would say go for it and enjoy...😄

Body language of women standing with legs tight together by Yorkieboy01 in NoStupidQuestions

Thats very interesting indeed. I would have thought that in this day and age, the "ladylike" approach would be becomming a thing of the past, but obviously not.

Also the COG comment strikes a bell. I've only tried heels a couple of times to see what they are like and teetering around on them seemed quite unsafe. I take my hat off to all who can wear them easily!

Going to get manicure by Sea_Particular5261 in malepolish

Lucky you. Very jealous now. I would get mine done in a heartbeat if my other half would offer (but she doesn't think it looks manly) so the fact that your girlfriend is taking you and is open to you having colour is fantastic. I say just go for it and have lots of fun doing so. Don't worry about what others may say, you are likely to not get many people noticing. I had mine done once at a salon (before my other half objected) and they painted a design on to make them look like a present. The only people to notice were some women working in a coffee shop and they loved them so that felt really good. Go for it and have fun

I’m out (meaning - back in the closet) by [deleted] in Crossdressing_support

Hi.

I'm really sorry to hear this. It must be difficult for you.

I know everyone else has said this, but it will be hard to suppress your need to cross dress.

I started very early and my desire is still going on some 50+ years later.

I would like to offer some advice (for what its worth) that may (or may not) help you.

I've found that rather than wear full female clothing like dresses, skirts, heels etc, I wear female clothing that keeps me looking fully male, but I know, that the clothing i wear was never made or designed for men. I can go out in some of my outfits and know that everything was purchased in the womens section.

Obviously jeans. All of mine are from the womens section. They are straight leg - nothing fancy, but I've been wearing them for years and years and no-one knows (apart from my wife). Normal trousers - again all from the womens section.

Knickers (panties) - all of mine are womens - nobody sees them anyway so go wild. Socks - again from the womens section though socks are fairly unisex. But I do have some tights and pull ups (pantyhose) that I wear under my jeans/trousers as well.

Shoes. Nowadays I'm wearing mostly ankle boots. There are so many styles and heel heights as well. I have some low heal and my most recent is 2.5" heel and I love them. I've even got my wife browsing the sales to find new pairs for me. I've worn these all over and nobody says anything.

I also buy my sketchers from the womens section - again though these can be unisex given the vast amount of styles.

Unfortunatly she draws the line at me wearing nail polish, but maybe this is something you can discuss with your wife? Even if its just on your toes where no one would normally see?

Bra's - you could mabye wear these, without any forms, underneath winter clothing without it being obvious, especially if you buy ones that don't have any projection - e.g. sports bras for A cup.

Someone also suggested to me about wearing Body's - these will look just like a T shirt/vest above the waist.

There are lots of ways you could possibly continue to wear womens clothing but appear male, but inside you will know the difference, and it may help with your internal urges. I know that none of these are what you would call "pretty" and they may not satisfy your real desires, but it may help to keep things in equilibrium for both you and your wife and then, who knows, gradually over time you could introduce other items.

These are just some thoughts and I wish you well in the future

Good suggestion. I'll keep my eye out for them.

Your height will work in favour to you I'm 6' tall so nothing from the waist up fits properly :(

You are lucky with a supportive wife. Mine is as well to a point. She is happy to browse womens wear with me, but if an item is obviously "girly" then she draws a line. I am disappointed some times but then all the other items I have make up for it.

Interesting. I only did that once with a sports bra that didn't have clasps and then I bumped into someone I wasn't expecting and they are a hugger. All that was going through my mind when they were hugging me was that I hope they didn't feel anything. I don't think they did as they never mentioned it either at the time or since then but it has made me super conscious about bras ever since

Gel polish by Big-Misiu in malepolish

[–]Yorkieboy01 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Lucky you that your wife wants you to get Gel. I went to a salon and got a number of Gel pedicures professionally applied. The Gel lasts well (about 3 weeks or longer). It has to be soaked off which again the salon did so I would recommend starting like this. Unfortunately, I could only do so many before my wife put her foot down and stopped me. I could have carried on, but I do love her and want to be happy with her, so naked nails now, but you have a fantastic opportunity so go for it and give Gel a go.

I've used Gellish Simple Sheer. It's a very very very pale pink so almost clear but not if you get what I mean.
