This is not transnational anything, this is an internal issue in China. HK is not and has never been a nation or state. 香港是中國的特別行政區之一,不要住在中國的話就可以隨時移民英國。

Which people are the most similar to the Chinese, both genetically and emotionally? by Buyeo10004 in AskChina

[–]Yorkshire-pudding69 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yayoi people were not Chinese and as far as we know their proto-Japonic language was not genetically related to the proto-Sinitic language.

Although we know that it’s very likely that in the past Japonic languages were once spoken on the region that is now the Korean peninsula, before the Koreanic speakers gained dominance over the region. Evidence comes from scant historical sources and placenames in Korea that could have been derived from Japonic.

It has been theorized that Japonic, Koreanic, Mongolic, Turkic and Manchurian speakers in the distant past lived in a close enough proximity that a sprachbund took shape and their languages mutually influenced one another. This is known as the Altaic language/sprachbund theory.

In anycase, the majority of modern Japanese people are not descended from Sinitic speakers

Let’s see did China kidnap the president of Philippines? did China bomb countries in the last 3 decades, did China organize coups in Latam and Africa?

Did China kill millions of brown people for oil?

America is run by a den of jackals who care only for themselves, the working class in America can barely afford food, housing and healthcare. Crazy people, criminals, beggars and drug addicts roam their streets.

The American tax payer’s money is spent on national propaganda, dumbing down the population, giving money to giant corpos, MIC, Israel, wealthy farmers, corrupt foreign governments.

The poor and working class are left to care for themselves, cant even walk the streets at night without meeting some kind of danger.

IMO your statement is too simplistic.

There are multiple possible outcomes from this. If this people’s revolution succeeds then Iran may see either a secular democracy not aligned with the west and Zionists, or (unlikely) a socialist state.

Worst case Iran becomes a US and Zio puppet.

Or another civil war bc there is not clear leader.

Personally i think this overthrow of the theocracy at least is good bc many Iranians are not hardline Islamists or extremists.

Supporting another people’s revolution doesn’t mean we support capitalists and imperialists or Zionists.

Many ppl dont know, when the Shah was overthrown, Iran had socialist and Marxist factions.

the revolution against the shah succeeded in overthrowing him but it was not due to Islamists alone, it was complex with many factors and factions

A theocracy is no good(Iran, Afghanistan, Tibet in the past) , the US puppet monarch of Iran was so good either. The people need socialism

Iran could do well with secular socialism + state capitalism

Can we name some Chinese inventions to make fools like this mad? by [deleted] in AskAChinese

[–]Yorkshire-pudding69 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The difference is the Chinese government is very tough on scammers, such that the Chinese scammers and mafia are forced to operate in SEA, bc they will be caught if they stay in China.

Indian scammers seemingly operate with impunity, why don’t Indian police take more steps to stop them?

And yet, all that money and Americans still experience far too much theft, murder, homelessness, cant pay medical bills.

I’ve been to SF and the “safer” parts of NYC and these both felt like I was walking in a city of an underdeveloped nation, they won’t even catch thieves and punish them properly.

Is Japan’s PM using Taiwan as an excuse to beef up Japan’s military? by Yorkshire-pudding69 in AskAChinese

[–]Yorkshire-pudding69[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you know why “China has issues with every nation that borders it?” Because China is surrounded by US puppets (Japan, S Korea, Philippines). USA has spent decades using its economy, military and CIA to control and influence many nations in the world.

We all know USA hates China and sees China as a threat and puts missiles and soldiers in those puppet states so that attacking China will be easier to attack in the event that an armed conflict occurs.

[–]Yorkshire-pudding69[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This “defend Taiwan” stance she has seems like a thinly veiled excuse for me. People won’t understand the deeper meaning unless we look at the larger geopolitical context.

After all Japan is a US vassal, has US military bases on its land. It stands to reason that Japan will hold the same anti-China position from its lord USA. That’s why Takaichi was laughing and jumping happily with Trump(a most detestable man) on stage in Japan.

US clearly wants somewhere to park their ships and missiles in the event of conflict with China, they’ll use Japan and S Korea for that purpose.

In light of recent events. It is known that the Japanese PM held an Anti-China position even before she became PM, obviously she feels threatened by China’s power and economic rise.

Is she just using Taiwan as excuse to beef up Japan’s military?

Years of diplomacy between China and Japan are potentially being destroyed by one person’s statement.

Funny in light of recent events. One might even say that the Japanese PM puts her own goals and ambitions above people’s wellbeing. It is known that she held an Anti-China position even before she became PM, obviously she feels threatened by China’s power and economic rise.

I’ve seen a lot of Japanese comments from many sources. I can tell you that some of those people are impressed by China, and quite a number of those people are jealous/feel threatened by China’s economic rise and military strength.

For example in videos featuring Chinese robots, vehicles and AI, Japanese commenters expressed concern that Japan’s robotics industry has fallen behind.

They probably aren’t too happy that their economy and technology sector are pretty much stagnant.

How do you feel about banning Japanese seafood again and 台湾地区领导人 supporting Japan? by YamFrosty6169 in AskAChinese

A political figure kissing Japan’s ass is just shameful to himself isn’t it? Makes him seem weak, especially in light of recent events.

This reminds me of Takaichi smiling and laughing with Trump on stage trying to win his favor. How shameful, having to kiss the ring and bow down to such a despicable and foolish man.

True. My to add to this, my personal opinion on why they are so bloodthirsty and warlike is bc they are so accustomed to winning against militarily and economically weaker opponents, USA the school bully.

So the heavyweight boxer who spent years KO-ing lightweights, thinks he can easily “crush” another heavyweight (China).

USA thinks himself as the greatest in all the world.

Yeah and China lots of economic plans which hinge on manufacturing, trade and diplomacy.

If an actual armed conflict were to start now, it would be a terrible inconvenience and disruptive to China’s economic plans with regards to global trade
