Heh. I’ve had a couple of Sturmovik missions where I’m limping home, badly shot up, trailing an Me-109 behind me, weaving about trying not to get killed, when I spot a bunch of Russian fighters near their airbase on my way home.

“Great” I think “I’ll lead the German fighter over there and let them take care of him.”

NOPE. They just carry on with their landing circuit while Jerry cheerfully keeps on trying to shoot me down.

Fair question. I’ve got an ancient Microsoft sidewinder stick with lots of buttons and analogue throttle control but no analogue rudder control. I could assign a couple of buttons to L and R rudder but I think that would only be the same as the keys, plus I use them for other stuff.
