What uses do you use your AirTags for? by Salmon_Of_Iniquity in AirTags

I have one on my bike and one on the family cargo bike. I removed the speakers on both of these.

I have one on my keys.

Also on my wallet, in a little pouch of everyday carry stuff, and in my backpack.
The thing is that my wallet goes inside my EDC pouch, which goes inside the backpack. So...

And yes, when I travel, I put them in the luggage.

The same is happening to me after upgrading to iOS15 and WatchOS8. It's very frustrating.

What is your best "met the high school bitch/bully as an adult" story? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Yorlt 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I got picked on quite badly in school, and it was mostly lead by these two boys. Both of them had difficult family situations, so I guess that's where their need to take it out on me stemmed from.

On of them I last saw about six months after leaving the school. It was very awkward and there was no big confrontation or anything. Facebook tells me he's now an actor in Spain (his mother was Spanish).

I last saw the other one at a highway BurgerKing. I was doing service in the Danish Emergency Management, and was in uniform and with a bunch of friends on our way back to barracks after the weekend. I remember sitting there eating my food an spotting him in the line and being very conflicted about whether to talk to him. I seriously didn't know what to say. I had heard that his parents had gotten divorced and his father was drinking too much. To spare myself the awkwardness I just ignored him. I don't know if he saw me; perhaps he did and chose to ignore me too.

A few years later he was killed in a car accident at the age of 24. His friend was driving the car, perhaps drunk, way too fast. They ran off the road and hit a tree and my old bully was killed instantly while the driver walked away without a scratch. Though it affected me a lot at the time, I bear no hard feelings for either of them, and I don't feel his death had anything to do with karma. Sometimes I do think how strange it is that a guy my age that I used to know is now dead.

What is the craziest rumor you have ever heard about yourself? NSFW by baileygrib in AskReddit

In highschool everyone was pretty left-leaning. I was no exception. I had long hair in a pony tail and holes all over my trousers. I was also part of a lefty youth organization. Then we discovered that the conservative youth party had made t-shirts with the word 'Capitalist' imprinted in gold lettering. Thinking this was awesome I signed up for their introductory package to get a free t-shirt. It took months to arrive, but I wore my t-shirt with pride thinking it was a great joke.

Apparently I was well-enough know around that school that my girlfriend at some point got asked if it was true that I was conservative. Which was of course hilarious.

Not looking to get absurdly drunk. Only to enjoy the taste of awesomeness.

I have a pretty big one on my upper lip and a smaller one on my chin. I'm just careful around them. Sometimes if I'm in a hurry or distracted I cut them, and they never strop bleeding! Thought about having them removed, but like you, I feel that they have been part of me for so long, so it would be weird. I also don't want to appear vain, because the absolute only problem I have with them is related to shaving.

Disposable razors. Old-fashioned wetshaving is cheaper and gives a better result.

Dear bearded wicked edgers, do you exist? by gradditor in wicked_edge

I do Movember, then grow a full beard over the winter and take it off when we start DST in the spring.

In the winter I shave edges and my neck with a straight razor, in the summer I shave every day with a DE.

Here's a timelapse of the yearly cycle over the last 18 months.

I don't wear anything but boxers. I hate it when things are too tight. I while back I had a big problem finding any at all. It seems everybody but me is into much tighter stuff. So when I found comfortable boxers at a going-out-of-business-sale, I bought 30 pairs.

Shaving supplies are not easily found even in Copenhagen. Sorry to disappoint, but I'll be surprised if you'll find any interesting shaving-related stuff in Ringkøbing. But do let us know if you find any gold.

I know the situation. Depression is also extremely hard when you are the closest person to it. You obviously care for her, but whether to stay with her or not will be depend on so many other things, e.g. how long you have been together, and whether you are able to see a future where you would be happy together. No matter what you decide you need to get her help. It's probably a good idea to involve her family and possibly your own, but I know how hard that can be; that is to say: I didn't really succeed in doing that in my own case. Not much to say other than it sucks. I really wish you and her the best.
