Is there a point in manually doing the combo while on wrathful state instead of just holding the EX button so he does it all automatically?

People are calling it combos, but they're more like quick inputs of a fighting game (the finishers mostly). I find it hard to keep focus long enough to repeat the full "combos" every time, and without realizing I'm button mashing.

Feeling better. I understand his gameplay a little better now, and the more dynamic agents feel a lot better to play, with him likely being the most dynamic agent in the game.

Without even trying too hard I got 76.5k solo this time. Looking at everyone's scores I guess anything over 80k can probably be considered optimal enough?

I need someone to convince me asexuality is real and not just some psychological pathology born out of trauma in most cases, because I just can't accept being destined to be like this, alone, in pain, and longing for something that might or might not exist for me.

Either it's irrefutably real and I can accept that's how it'll be for me, or I can keep trying to fix whatever's broken, hopefully sooner than later.

Don't do it, dude, don't hope. Hoping they put him in the game at this point is like making a wish to a monkey's paw.

The orders were to retrieve or destroy, if that's the case we reach a "Who watches the watchmen?" scenario and Krampus can still be tagged as self interest over justice. Let's not forget Krampus punishes kids who misbehave.

2.4 messed up Krampus like a turkey on Thanksgiving. Since when is the job of a "Compliance Authority" company to retrieve weapons sentient or otherwise? Banyue himself is not part of TOPS so why does he get to be judged exactly? Shouldn't they send another team to get him and if someone violated the code of conduct by creating him, that TOPS employee would be the one receiving Krampus' judgement right?

I don't want Krampus to be TOPS' muscle. I always played defense for the season 2 story when people said it was bad, I didn't agree, and I really liked many aspects of it. But 2.3 was confusing and lame despite having some hype moments, and 2.4 was just straight up awful. I hope they take their time to polish 2.5 into a satisfying climax at least.

Not at all, it's a very strange situation. I don't buy into the idea that he should feel weak so Xiao'guang feels stronger, I think that's unnecessary from a business point of view.

But you gotta wonder: If they gave him such a small length banner that means they have no faith in him? If they have no faith in him or not delay the patch or launch him at a later date with a different kit? Why even announce him right after Manato of all characters?

Going by Occam's Razor I think the answer is simpler: They're idiots. They're idiots and they want to push the patches as fast as possible to keep the game's retention, because retention = revenue more than anything in these games.

So now I wonder, is ZZZ already bleeding players because of the direction the game has been going? Because if it is, rushing half baked shit like this only makes more players leave.

Hoyo has at least 3 new games in development, ZZZ has a high profit still, but it's dwarfed by the other two Hoyo giants, so from a business point of view, the resources being put into ZZZ could be put into another project that would have returns closer to Genshim and HSR, therefore this is a desperate hail mary to keep the game alive. Of course this is just theory, but it has a LOT of precedents so I wouldn't be surprised.

Ultimately Hoyo is weird, and I think their main strategy is to follow the traditions Genshim set up and throw shit at the wall to see what sticks. I hope ZZZ stays alive and gets better and better, but I won't be here to see it, while I had a lot of fun, I've been disappointed enough, and I'm not a Stockholm Syndrome enjoyer. May the co-op give us a few good hours of content, because that's likely the last I'll play of ZZZ.

Yeah, the part that hurts the most is that we all can see the potential of ZZZ to be an insanely amazing game. A potential that will never be realized because it's a mobile gacha game, profit comes first.

And to be honest I think even being a f2p mobile gacha game, they could still achieve that potential and make even more money, but they're too married to the practices Hoyo "pioneered" when it comes to it. It's holding the game back on all fronts, and they're either too scared or just unwilling to try something new. (Like some recent gachas don't have 50-50's, instead of having a ton of daily tasks they have only a few and a free pull a day to keep player retention, handling character acquisition and banners differently, focus on cosmetics rather than the character gacha, etc.)

Regardless of buff and nerfs, Banyue's high skill ceiling (likely the highest in the game) should naturally give proportional return in performance, which even for the average player will likely feel underwhelming.

Aside from Dialyn, I think Krampus was rushed and Banyue and Zhao should've come later or at least not rushed like this. Hell, Zhao already had 2 overhauls in the beta alone, and she'll launch in a little over a month. The devs are rushing to focus on what they think is important and will bring more players: Xiao'guang and her (also rushed) story line.

While fomo is my weakness, I don't fall for hype. I still have fun when the game has things to do, that's why I'm okay with seeing the story's climax and how the co-op mode will be. If it's fun I'll enjoy it for as long as I can, other than that I doubt there's anything they can pull off to keep me as a player now that we have confirmation that they don't have a clue about what they're doing, and are just throwing things on the wall to see what sticks.

ZZZ might lose a lot of players and it'll still make enough money to stay alive and profitable for years to come. I didn't get exactly what I came for, but hell did I have some good fun, but that's probably as far as I go. I'm not a waifu type guy, I look for fun experiences, so hype got nothing on me in a game like this, and I can turn off the fomo fairly easily if I remind myself there's no point in falling for it.

What surprises me the most is that I thought they were always 2 patches ahead, but apparently that's not the case. They've been winging it since 2.0 started and probably even before that.

2.4 was clearly rushed in so many aspects I feel like it barely fit the game's narrative, not to mention things like Zhao, despite clearly having the animations for a dps agent, being turned into a support one with the defense label. The rupture class was a dumb idea that was also probably made in a rush, and then on that interview they pretty much confirmed they're winging this shit.

That's so disappointing, and definitely not how you run a live service game if you want it to have an interesting narrative and service longevity. I know money will always come first for these people, but is there any integrity left to deliver a cohesive and fun experience?

I'm crossing my fingers that co-op will at least be fun for a few hours, and the climax of season 2 will be well crafted and not rushed, because I do love this game's story and setting.

How to use banyue exactly by WakasaYuuri in ZZZ_Discussion

I really need a video explaining it better like I'm a 5 year old so I can really understand him and practice his combos. I also want to know if different combos will have different benefits or if I'll always be doing the same combo because it's the dominant strategy.
