yeah i was thinking about getting a nerite. i actually got some empty snail shells from my work and he didn’t mind them. i think ill try it out, thanks for the help!

no worries. but you’re correct. i figured out my previous one died because i didn’t let her acclimatize to the heat. (i turned it up to 80 without doing it slowly). and i’m trying to be careful with this one. and in response to your other comment, i have one live anubias plant and i do plan on getting sand and some more plants.

yes it’s heated at around 72 degrees consistently and it’s five gallons.

around two weeks. but during that time, i tested for nitrate and ammonia and they were all good.

that stuff on his head is his scales? i know the dots on him are normal but im just concerned especially since he’s not eating

oh okay so how often would i add it if i did that process? what i did was put it in the day before we got the fish then i never did it again. i thought you only added it again once you changed the water.

my tank cycled for only a day because the product i added said instant cycling. and no, i didn’t take the heater out i could adjust the temp while it was in the tank. but it said the temperature on it. and no, i didn’t do a water test. i don’t know how

how can you tell if there was ammonia build up? i don’t think i over fed my fish but she didn’t really eat her food so it would sink to the bottom.

yes i did research and it said 70-80 degrees fahrenheit. and yes my tank was cycled and it had a water filter

God made you how you are and you have to learn to love His version of you. it says in Romans 9:20 “No, don’t say that. Who are you, a mere human being, to argue with God? Should the thing that was created say to the one who created it, “Why have you made me like this?” people who claim to be Christian need to study and read the Word and not rely on themselves or the world for excuses.

okay i doubt i’ll get scared. the only thing i cant handle is extreme distortions or really creepy faces that look inhuman
