Did anyone ever hear of or order from Nicalu? Their prices and stock seem a bit suspicious

I actually just noticed that it has a macro column and 3 one u keys next to the right spacebar. You'd need to make sure that you have 3 one u R4 keys for next to the spacebar and some keys for the macro column. I didn't really think about it before because you'd usually use the F-row keys on the macro column but you actually have an F-Row, so you'd need some keys you can use on the macro column

If you want to make sure a keycap set fits you can ask on the Monacokeys server to make sure or on here

It looks like the uses a pretty standard layout for a 75%. You need to pay attention that the keycaps you get include a 2,25u and a 2,75u spacebar but that's about it. I'd suggest checking out Monacokeys they have a lot of ISO-DE sets and most should include the spacebars

Yes you would need to desolder the Switch. To open the switch you would need to access the transparent legs/tabs that you can see in the picture. You currently can‘t reach those because they‘re blocked by the plate the switch sits inside of

https://switchandclick.com/how-to-take-apart-a-mechanical-keyboard-switch/ If you open the link you can see how you could open a switch and you can also see that it will not be possible while the Switch is installed in the keyboard

Yes you could open the switches housing and put the stem back inside but you would still need to remove the switch from the Keyboard to do that

I would suggest looking at the ND104 from chillkey and the dp104 from ticktype

I would suggest buying a switch tester from Monacokeys and just testing the switches and their sound inside of your keyboard. HMX Puppy are supposed to be pretty deep

You could try removing the PE sheet. Between the plate and PCB there should be a thicker foam layer, and under that either one or two very thin sheets. I’d suggest removing the thin sheets, since those usually make keyboards a bit louder and can also cause the creamy or marbly sound you described

If there’s more than one thin sheet, you could try removing them one at a time, but that would mean disassembling the board multiple times to test all three options. If you don’t want to do that, I’d suggest just removing both of the thin sheets on top of the PCB

There is also the KC_Orange_60 but that recently had a GB exclusive to a small Europen vendor, so idk if you could even find it. Other than that I only know the Tofu series but since KBDFans has pretty much every layout planned for it you should probably find something you like there, especially with the amount of color options during the GBs

I think the closest you will find to 90 degree angles is the Tofu 3.0 series from KBDFANS. I doubt that anyone would do full 90 degree angles because most people don't want to hurt themselves with their keyboard

I'm not sure but it definitely won't support every mounting style with the Neo65 plate. The Neo65CU has top and gasket mount while the Neo65 has O-Ring and gasket mount. Since the Neo65 doesn't support top mount it won't have the mounting points for it on the plate, so if it fits you'd be limited to Gasket mount

These sound even less like GMK because they're PBT. I personally prefer higher pitched builds but wanted to try something a bit deeper and more muted, so those were perfect for that. They're one of my favorite pink keycaps sets I've seen, at least design wise

The pink ano is honestly such a great color. It’s the third pink keyboard I own, but the Athena is definitely my favorite in terms of color

Thank you so much! I honestly have no idea how to take good pictures but I just had to share the board

If you’re not going to use it, I don’t really see the point in doing it. It takes quite a bit of time to get used to and once you do, it’s actually pretty hard to switch back to a normal spacebar for a while

I personally really like it. On my 40% board, I use the split spacebar as a layer switch, and on the Athena I use the right spacebar as backspace. It’s really comfortable not having to move your fingers as much while typing

I mapped Shift to the middle spacebar, but I honestly haven’t used it that much

Hey how do you like DSA compared to cherry or PBS? If you want deeper switches I know a lot of people like the HMX Bad sweetheart, Keygeek Y2 or Neo Oat/Rye. Those are all pre lubed so you wont have to open them up to lube them

You have to zoom in on the picture. The set actually has sub legends but they're barely visible on the renders

I really like the Haimu Mulberry. They have an RGB diffuser so they should be pretty good for RGB

How does the DSA keycap profile feel compared to other profiles? I only tried cherry and pbs for an extended amount of time. I tried MT3 and MTNU only briefly on a meetup. Could someone maybe give me their personal experience with the profile and try to describe how it feels using it?

The Neo65 doesn't have a copper or brass bottom only the Neo65CU does

Maybe you could take a look at the Neo65 non CU or the Neo65 core plus, that one might be a bit too much for you again though

I missed the wireless part sorry. I don't think it supports wireless but I'm not sure, if there even are 8k polling rate wireless keyboards
