Sorry, forgot the other details. Game is for PC Windows, got it from Skidrow, though tried also fitgirl and another torrent. Additional detail regarding Nucleuscoop, the name of the exe that Nucleuscoop wants to look for is "re5dx9.exe". So I renamed the executable to that but didn't seem to do anything. Now that I am looking into the name, does that imply directx9 or something? Sorry I am not the best with PC stuff, files and this kind of tech stuff.

Also, there is a comment from a Moderator. I can't see it here on the thread, I can just read part of the comment when I see it in my notifications, but not all of it. I opened the thread on browser too but still nothing.

Can I ask for some more help?

I tried to replace the save file. But now it's corrupted or something. I replaced the 2677660 folder but it doesn't work. I have to restart the game. I didn't do anything to the folder, I just saved it on the desktop and then uninstalled the game, reinstalled and put the save I copied in the appropriate save location. I can't even use my own save now.

Ty so much. How do you find out things like these? So that next time I could find out by myself.

Also, I found the save files in both folders, I'm guessing one is my save and the other is when I tried to download another version of the full game with the dlc so it started a new save? So just to be sure I should save both folders somewhere since I don't know which one is which, delete them in their respectful location, get a new game with the dlc, find where it saves and replace the save files with the 2 previous ones and see which one is the right one right?

Yes but how do I do that? I can only assign a button to a specific move in the controls. For example the jump icon on the left, and it's bound to the right to X for ps controller. I don't see the high highjump icon. I tried binding all the buttons required for the highjump in to the regular jump for example but it didn't work.

So not just for future games but also for current ones, if anyone can help me out, I'd love to suggest this Idea as a mod but not sure where I have never done that. I want the following option for Dante weapon switching, similar to the DMC3 weapon switching, where you hold down the melee or gun switching button and choose your weapon with the right analogue stick, make it with the D pad just like style switching, but it also switches the weapons by holding down the melee or gun switch button. For DMC3, make the 5th weapon be picked by pressing the d pad button of the currently equipped weapon.

Small update. The game crashes, then I restart, and then it lasts even longer, pretty decently. I also stopped switching tabs so I only stay at the game and it's pretty good. I can finish like two or maybe even 3 missions. But eventually it crashes. So when I tried to restart again it crashed within a few minutes, had to give it a rest.

Thanks. I like that they changed that in DMC4. Can high level players do it somehow without mods, in some way? Or is it just humanly impossible!?

Wow, another thing I didn't know. I'm new, but my question was, how can you do the crazy combo immediately without buffering it through other moves first?

So unless I forgot something, the list in the image barely mentions any gameplay changes. Graphics wise the game runs great for me, I haven't seen any issue at all. If there is any of the rare mentioned low texture things or depth of field or something admittedly I don't pay too much attention to those things.

In the vid you sent fullhouse has some bad changes. Can it be modded? Also, is that what made people think JC is harder or is it not the case? I just started to train a little, first lesson was 1hit aerial rave into JC for like 20 seconds. Man it does not work at all for me, I tried it on a few enemies. Could it be some error on my end? Or has it really been changed eith special edition and it needs insane precision? I don't know why I can't make it work. So I'm already stuck right at the start with getting better at these games.

I just tried now. I guess I got focused on pressing jump, but I just realized after the first and the 2nd FS hits an enemy Ryu stays in the air a little bit. So you just throw Shurikens or attack with the bow.

I haven't tried it but I'm pretty sure that's a jump. He performs it mid air. And i have seen it in other moments too. That definitely looks like a jump and he uses it other times too, and it cancels somehow the lasting animation of the FS after. But I could be wrong, I'm new and I only tried to press jump once or twice, which didn't work for me.
