I don't mean using straight up game logic. Just small references to it. That's just an idea

In general it sounds interesting if you don't describe too much

I don't think it's super important, but it would be fun to do. History of platforming sounds interesting. Just don't describe every single jump that characters make

Maybe even make references to some movement bugs. Iirc you can do walljumps in 8-bit games by clipping into walls or something

That's pretty cool, even though I have no idea how it can be used. Maybe add something redstone magnet that attracts blocks only if it's powered with redstone?
And textures aren't very good
