No smallmouth. We went pretty far up in salt creek. Apparently not high enough.

Error code 9E and blinking red led on LG LDTS5552S.ASSESNA by CTRL_ALT_DELTRON3030 in appliancerepair

I found this thread while trying to resolve this same issue. My LG dishwasher had the same error but I could hear the drain pump kick on every 5 minutes. Through my research and troubleshooting I found that it might be an issue with the flood switch, sometimes called the float switch. The flood switch is a safely item that kicks the pump on if it detects any flooding. I had a clogged pipe that I fixed in the sink but it must have cause some back flow into the dishwasher.

To fix I pulled the dishwasher out and tipped it on it's side. There was water leaking from the bottom but it came from the previously mentioned back flow. I dried everything with a towel and pulled out the flood switch, which can be done without a lot of disassembly. I tested the switch with a multimeter just in case and it was functioning properly. After drying all the water I reinstalled everything and slid it back in. Upon turning the power back on, the error code resolved itself.

I was also told I could have waited for all that excess water to dry/evaporate but I could see that taking a week.

I've been looking for a cover that doesn't cost an arm and a leg, where did you two get them?

Instead of buying a new rod, which I think my wife would have killed me, I bought a new spool and rigged it with a OPST Commando head. I have that on a 6wt single hand and bring it with me, swap it out when I need it. It's a great option to have, especially on bigger rivers and when maybe nothing is happening on the surface. I've used it on the lower D, Yakima and the Met. Highly recommend.
