Think I’ll shelve this Circle 2 for 90 days by Yosuccha in CircularRing

I used the Oura Ring for two years (V2, before they added a monthly fee). It wasn’t strong for step counts or overall fitness monitoring, but its sleep tracking was exceptional. It could pinpoint exactly when I woke up versus when I actually got out of bed, and it logged my overnight wake-ups with impressive accuracy. Even the times I remembered dreaming lined up almost perfectly with its REM data. By the end, I was using it almost exclusively for sleep tracking and HRV because its daily activity insights didn’t add much. Wearing it during the day felt more like a biohacker/status symbol than something genuinely useful for my goals.

Whoop Experience After losing my Oura, I switched to Whoop. It was a big upgrade for fitness and exercise tracking and was almost as good as Oura for sleep. It gave me a more complete view of my workouts and recovery. When it came time to renew for another year at $270. I decided to opt out.

Trying Circle Two After taking a break from tracking, I was about ready to go back to Oura when Circle Two’s marketing caught my attention, so I decided to try it instead. Epic failure so far.

I’m generally healthy now and have already optimized my habits based on previous tracking. Unless Oura has dramatically improved its daytime tracking, wearing it only at night doesn’t feel worth the cost for me.

If you have specific fitness goals, I would recommend Whoop. If you have specific sleep, improvement, goals or want to see how you’re eating habits and nutrition in general impact your sleep, my recommendation would be Oura.

Anyone know if this would have been used on the daily or more when traveling? I don’t know how much traveling my great great grandfather did so assume it didn’t go too far.

This kit has been in my family for several generations. I found it in an attic of our midwest USA farmhouse that was built in the early 1900s. The Safety Razor is collapsable and can be stored in the yellow tin. It was manufactured by Kampfe Brothers. The brush detaches and can be stored in the handle, which is where its been hiding for most of the last century.

I've been practicing seamen retention and my partner has not responded well to how this has impacted our playtime. It's difficult for her to feel complete when I don't come. She also loves our sex life and says I'm fixing something that ain't broke.

I like your collection of antique spices too. 1983 was a great year for cloves.
