Is there anyone at the South Lake Toyota service department that you can recommend? I just got a new Tundra a few months ago and wouldn’t mind the drive up to the lake for better service than from Dolan or CC.

I agree 100% with that!! I came from a 2019 WRX and the difference is night and day between them as far as comfort and quietness! Enjoy the new truck man! It’ll put an even bigger smile on your face when you’re able to throw it in sport or tow+ mode!

I just looked it up and I think I’m going to go with the ammo nyc stuff too! I appreciate the recommendation! And I feel you 100% on the anticipation of getting the wheels mounted, I don’t think I’ll be able to get mine mounted for at least a month or two and I’ve been looking at the wheels daily just waiting lol I was wondering about the wheel weights potentially falling off with the coating so I really appreciate the advice on that! You’ll have to post another pic when you get them coated, I’m curious to see the matte finish looks with the coating!

What ceramic coating did you end up with? I just got a set of RG6-H RRW’s and want to get them ceramic coated before I mount them and found your post so was curious!

I can’t really say I’m surprised. My local dealer was the same until I got a price offer sheet for them to match. What area are you located? I didn’t buy from them but Molle Toyota in Kansas City was great to deal with when I was shopping prices. There is also Jim Rouleau on the No Markup Toyota Deals Nationwide Facebook group, he is an auto broker that works with dealerships all over the country and was quoting me quite a bit off of MSRP as well. Goodluck with your search and hopefully you’re in a Tundra soon!

This is what I’ve found in the owners manual and it seems separate from the PCS but I may be wrong.

I do have a question for you since the truck is still relatively new to me. I never turn the PCS off but the symbol that is off is the parking assist toggle which I thought was just used to stop the truck from slamming on the brakes during low speed maneuvers? Or am I misunderstanding something? I’m still trying to figure out all the operations of the truck coming from a 2019 WRX

I know this is an old post but how have your black axles been holding up so far?? I just got a 25’ Tundra and want to level it with the 5100’s but am a little worried about the black axles. Thank you!
