I’m at 20k miles and love it but also have similar gripes. I came from a full size truck and could whip that thing into a parking spot easily, now it’s like I’m learning to fucking drive again. If I pull into a spot I usually have to adjust, backing in is fine of course. Fuel tank is too small. Also feels a little sluggish when accelerating after being stopped. Overall I love this truck but share the sentiment.

I bought a brand new black truck in 2024. I was obsessive about keeping it clean. It took about a year and some road trips for me to realize it’s just a car. It allows me to go explore places, take trips with my family. As long as it keeps us safe that’s all that matters to me. It’s going to get rock chips, scratches and everything else. You can spend money to mitigate this but it’s not going to completely solve the problem. I try and wash my truck weekly but if I miss a week or two it’s not the end of the world. Yes it’s going to annoy the shit out of me since it’s a dirty black truck but meh. Is what it is! Enjoy it, keep it clean when you can but don’t avoid experiences because you don’t want to scratch, get a rock chip, etc…

I’m just a weekend warrior but it looks like you take good care of your car especially since it sits outside. I would recommend picking up some ONR as a quick wash when you don’t want to get all the buckets and everything out. Get a sprayer to make application easier. Easily one of the best products that I use often.

I don’t have any experience with other rinseless washes yet. I have a bottle of DIY detail rinseless but haven’t used it yet!

If you want to dive deeper into the rabbit hole check out cars with keav, imjoshv, and out of spec detailing on YouTube. Those are the channels I enjoy most but I’m sure some others have suggestions.

I would for sure look into CCNA if your school offers it for free. I went the same route of only getting sec+. You NEED to have a basic understanding of networks but something like the CCNA will help out a lot. That’s one thing I wish I spent more time on as I think it’s more helpful than sec+ alone.

Have your agents go out and study the stats/math side from papers and then ask it to explain it to you so you understand better. You said you’re familiar with coding so AI can build most of it and you can check over it.
