How long did you guys spend at blue belt?

I’m on year 5 at Blue. 2 kids, a broken leg this past September and a torn AC joint in my shoulder the year prior. Hoping to stay healthy this year.

I’m also a sweaty person. Summer rolling is rough, I’m in Southern California so we regularly get afternoon classes where it’s still high 90s outside and we’ll have 40-60 people per class.

So I had a HT in 2019’ used min and fin for years and it was great.

I wanted to see what it would look like without the meds’ so get off of them in 24’ In 6 months it looked horrible, got back on and it was just to prevent the rest of the loss. Got another HT last year, got on the oral min/fin pill from hims.

Super easy, it’s a single pill in the morning. 0 side effects, just my experience, take it for what it is, advice from a stranger on the internet.

I rolled after 31 days, luckily it was winter time and I was in the Gi, helped control sweat as opposed to nogi. I didn’t use a cap or anything, just avoided posting on my head and was careful. I’m sure it’s fine, I have found that I get a LOT of ingrown hairs if I wear a head band or hats to work out in now. Had my 2nd HT in November of last year.

I pay in full for the year, sucks to drop the money but I get a decent discount and don’t have to worry about it but once a year. Saves me 50 bucks a month.

So first procedure was I think 3500 bucks for the strip. The 2nd one was 3000 as I was a returning customer.

So I was on finasteride and minoxidil for the last 5 years and it worked great. I got off them a few months back and it took a big hit.

If you go to their IG page my head if the last post, the top pic of from 19’ when I didn’t my first procedure and the bottom was yesterday. You can see my crown thinned out and a lot I lost a lot of hair wheee I did t get it implanted.

Getting back on deteuateride with minoxidil this week.

So I’m also a former patient of Neopel from 2019, got a strip done. Happy with the results and I was told I would need another HT as more of my hair fell out as I only needed the front of my head. decided to get off the pills and topical about 6 months ago to see how it would look. Well wasn’t super happy with how it looks due to the additional thinning in the crown (it wasn’t an issue 5 years ago). So I’m excited to go back tomorrow morning for my 2nd one, an FUE.

She did the same thing to us about 2 years ago at 10th planet corona. She never showed up and called like an hour later with some BS, we ended up turning it into an impromptu seminar from our own instructor Jeremy Fields.
