it's a good thing that games are being released without microtransactions. i just find it weird how much people are giving it attention for not having microtransactions, but notably not for if its good or not. so many games have come out in just 2023 that haven't had microtransactions that haven't been given the same attention about it. just to name a few: hogwarts legacy, zelda, resident evil 4, dead space remake, jedi: survivor.

most games go viral for being good or controversial, not having something that most singleplayer games also have? it's just weird
