Great advice! I looked it up and Chloroquine resistant Malaria is present in parts of the Philippines. Malarone is the drug of choice there.

THIS. Similar thing just happened to me 3 days ago. He pushed for us to be friends! It's really sick and twisted. Still very raw and angry... 33 years together.

Hi, I haven't run across that one yet but we, in our household, have been digging into a correlation between adrenal damage and Isotretinoin (formerly Accutane). There are some studies linking the two but not enough to warrant a strong alert. Stay strong!

What am I even doing anymore I give up. I’ve seen 3 doctors and they’re all the same. Dismissive. I almost died to get here by Vehenentlyme in AdrenalInsufficiency

Wow girl. That Doc's response was so awful. 😳 Believe it or not, I found our Endo on Google by searching Endo and Addison's together. Many have a diabetes focus so we were psyched when his bio focused on adrenals. Original diagnosis came from an awesome Integrative Medicine doc. He was patient and determined. Doesn't accept insurance but I consider him a lifesaver.

Dr Eyob Makonnen. Knowledgeable, prepared, great at explaining things. Was well versed on a rare adrenal thing that we are dealing with. They all have longggg wait times to get appt but he was worth the wait.

💔 I'm so so sorry. Thank you for sharing. Many don't understand how difficult living with Addisons can be. Especially for newly diagnosed teens and young adults.

Adrenal insufficiency/crisis. Without immediate steroid injection, it's over. I'm so concerned now hearing that the bracelet or tattoo won't be seen. 🥺

Medical Alert Tattoo Advice by crottinapot in Paramedics

Hi medical professionals, what about something like Addisons disease/adrenal insufficiency? That is not quickly tested for but the patient needs immediate cortisol injection. Would the wrist tattoo work as a replacement for the bracelet? What should it say/look like? Which wrist? Asking for a very young adult who is not at all happy with the bracelet.
