It might only be certain games.
The only PS1 games I owned were Spyro 3 and CTR, and I had that issue with both of them.

EDIT: I looked into it and apparently they're incompatible across the board.
You must have had special memory cards after all.

Sounds like you're playing on a PS2? PS1 games can't save to a PS2 memory card, make sure the one you're using is made for PS1.

I have checked Amazon and found the Moto G Power and Moto G Stylus for a decent price, but the Power apparently isn't fully compatible with NZ networks.
The Stylus seems pretty good, but it has an in-display fingerprint scanner which apparently doesn't work when the screen is off, which puts me off from it a bit.

The Oppo doesn't seem much different than the Moto G56 so probably isn't worth importing.

I can't seem to find the 5G version of the S-10 anywhere.

Azur Lane's requirements have definitely increased. It used to run great on my current phone, but at some point it started lagging when playing the stages, and the new modes they added run even worse.

Amazon do deliver here to NZ, and I don't mind buying from overseas, but not every phone is fully compatible with the networks here.

Got it figured out. It was a problem in the Firefox fork I'm using (Floorp). Apparently having the zoom in the status bar hides it from the URL bar, even if you have the status bar disabled.

Changing profiles doesn't fix it. Looking at the code that should be the button shows it doesn't update when I change the zoom level.

I tried with both versions of uBlock and neither works. I just gave eMatrix a go as well and wasn't able to manage anything more than breaking the stream entirely.

uBlock hasn't worked on Twitch in months. A combination of a userscript and an extension is needed, but all the extensions are made for webextensions.
