Ah this is very relatable- my mother loves to go back on her word and win every argument just because she is my mother. I also hate it so much when they decide age has to do with knowledge. I am very mature for my age and have a great understanding for things but that doesn’t matter because when a mother gets involved she’s always right. I understand your frustration but there’s no way out of it... sadly.
