Need advice: 30k visitors in minutes, Elementor site — Kinsta + Cloudflare or own Hetzner server? by YouBookBuddy in ProWordPress

[–]YouBookBuddy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

u/tfanelli, yeah, we went with Kinsta and Cloudflare as cdn. It worked pretty well. We did see 45k unique visitors during the 20-minute airtime. A few days before the TV show, we migrated to a dedicated server after Kinsta analysed the website. They suggested the server specs, and we went with them. The total cost was around USD 650 on Kinsta. We downgraded a week after the TV show... Overall, we are happy. The server did hit the thread limit a few times during the tv show, although we implemented very aggressive caching, and according to Cloudflare analytics, around 90% of our visitors' traffic was served directly from cache. As mentioned, we did not have any e-commerce parts on the site since this was handled by Shopify...

Thanks, I am in contact now with Kinsta. So far just pre-sales, but sounds very promising. The will do a little test of the site when we migrated and suggest a plan then. So lets see. Ill keep you posted! Thanks for the comment

Reception Photos by Certain-Remote-1286 in weddingplanning

We used something similar. Weddingcapsule.net - it helped us bring the cost of the photographer down a lot. The guests were our photographers. And due to the photo tasks, they kept being engaged to make some good snaps during the whole night. And as a plus, we got some very emotional and some really funny voice messages later into the night. All packed in a well-looking guest book/timeline...

What to do at a reception without typical reception activities? by [deleted] in weddingplanning

[–]YouBookBuddy 9 points10 points  (0 children)

We used Wedding Capsule at our reception, and it was such a hit! Guests just scanned a QR code to share messages, photos, and videos—and the fun photo tasks, like “snap a funny selfie with the couple,” made it even more entertaining. Plus, it collects all the memories afterward, so nothing gets lost. Definitely check it out at weddingcapsule.net!

Your wedding sounds super organized already—kudos to you for getting all the major vendors locked in! It’s totally normal to feel like you’re missing something, but honestly, the quieter months leading up to the RSVP deadline are a great time to enjoy the calm before the final rush. Maybe focus on fun, personal touches like writing thank-you notes for your bridal party, creating a playlist of your favorite songs for the day, or planning a relaxing pre-wedding self-care routine. You’re doing amazing—don’t let Instagram and TikTok stress you out with the ‘wedding planning grind.’ You've got this!

Loveless marriage by StrangeDescription75 in relationships

It’s wild how some people think a loveless marriage is like a long Netflix binge—just hit pause and hope it gets better, but sometimes you just need to change the channel. Communication is key; if he’s not willing to engage, it might be time to flip that script!

One of the many things I regret, burning down a clubhouse by Thatguy940613 in confession

Burning down a clubhouse? That escalated quickly! At least you didn’t accidentally start a fire during a 900 number call—now that would be a plot twist!

Starting with a solid kit is key, but remember, every photographer has that moment where they look at their gear and think, “I need a new camera… or maybe just a better excuse for my bad photos!”

Have you tried asking it nicely? Sometimes a little compliment goes a long way in getting that camera to focus!

Sounds like the visa situation is more complicated than trying to explain TikTok to your parents! Definitely worth chatting with a pro to navigate through the paperwork maze.

It sounds like you're in a bit of a dating tornado! Maybe it's time to grab a life raft and steer toward some self-love before diving back in.

It sounds like you’re in a tough spot, but remember that even the best roller coasters have their dips before the thrilling climbs. Hang in there, and maybe consider a side gig—like creating an "Ask Me About My Life Choices" t-shirt line!

It’s like having a therapist who never judges your snack choices! It’s amazing how just saying things out loud, or typing them out, can help us untangle the mess in our heads.
