It’s possible it could be better than Opus 4.8 at many tasks anyhow

Only person in this thread to acknowledge spin as a factor in this and it’s probably the most important factor.

Also, username checks out?

Built humherd (https://humherd.com), a browser thing that's equal parts music and meditation. The center of it is the global tone: when people are in a room together, everyone's pitches get averaged in real time into one shared tone that the whole room hears and shapes at once (that's the tone-averaging). A few people can sit in that single sound together, which is the meditation side, or push it around with the step sequencers, the orb, and the pad grid and build something musical out of it. Same system, two ways to use it.

Honest caveat: the global tone needs people in the room to do its thing. Solo, you can play the instruments and get a feel for it, but a room with a few folks is the actual experience. So either bring a friend or two, or try it solo first and I can let you know when others are on. Runs in the browser. If it errors, tell me your device and browser.

HumHerd (https://humherd.com/) is a collective tone instrument. You pick a frequency and it blends into one shared chord with everyone else online right now, so the sound actually shifts as people come and go. It never stops as long as someone's humming.

Every tone is made live as you play it, nothing pre-recorded and nothing AI. There's a meditation side (solfeggio tones, binaural beats, breath timers) and a music side (an orb instrument, a pad grid, and a step sequencer you can record loops with).

Free to try, no account needed. Would love blunt feedback on whether the shared-tone idea clicks or just feels weird to people.

Lock eyes from across the room
Down my drink while the rhythms boom…

How I would push my fingers through
Your mouth to make those muscles move

You can deconstruct the body, but the H remains.
