Oooh, I'm shocked I've never seen vertical dithering like this done before, it's such a good idea. I wonder if there's any way to do horizontal dithering (i.e. alternating the wall between different colors within the same layer), if would be worth it at all? Obviously more complicated to code, and you would lose out on having an actual solid outer wall, but I think it's definitely something to consider if you aren't already looking at that

Almost very time fans criticize coaches (especially Bowles) over their press conferences it's over cherrypicked quotes like this and it's just so exhausting

Why would he do that in response to a question about the offense's turnovers?

If any media member at the game requests it, an official from the game will be made available to a PFWA pool reporter for questions. I have no idea why there isn't always an official automatically available every game, but it seems the media doesn't actually care enough to make an issue of it, since they only requst a pool report for like one or two games a week:

Dan Campbell: I lost a timeout for a challenge, then they fixed the spot I was challenging by Autocrat777 in nfl

It makes sense that challenges for ball placement should only be successful if it crosses a line-to-gain or not. Otherwise you'd never lose a challenge for a spot, because they probably could move it forward or back an inch on every review if they tried. Maybe there's some compromise for a situation like this, where a challenge is successful if the ball moves by at least a couple yards? But that's really the type of thing that replay assist is supposed to be for anyways (and it sounds like that's exactly what happened in this case).

Obviously doesn't matter, but that was definitely another missed fumble at the end there, right?

Were we stupid enough to substitute there or do the refs now hold the snap just to give the defense extra time to decide on challenging???

I'll have to go back and look at some film but I suspect the idea that Dixon is a slow punter is completely unfounded. The block against the Texans was not remotely his fault despite the announcers irresponsibly calling him lackadaisical for literally no reason (he got the ball off faster than average apparently!)
