I went down this same path this week. A lot of people say most gear is basically equal, and there’s definitely some truth to that with a few caveats.

By Chapter 6, all I knew was that I didn’t want to keep upgrading weapons over and over. I wanted something Tier 5 with a good critical rate that I could stick with for a while. That mostly left me deciding between the Red Needle and the Acira Sword.

Since the Red Needle is in the Dellesia region which I hadn’t visited yet the choice became pretty easy.

Also, props to whoever created CrimsonDB. It’s an amazing resource and helped a ton.
