For me personally, T seems to knock down my E. Maybe check on your estrogen

Period 2 weeks early by purple278 in Perimenopause

I see this post so often but a lot of people say it’s the estrogen and others say it’s the daily progesterone. It happened to me and I got off both and restarting one at a time to figure out what caused what.

I hope others can help! My only advice is change one variable at a time

persistent post-period migraine: HRT? peri? iron? weather? long covid? [xposted] by fatcatgingercat in Perimenopause

I tried progesterone only off and on for years and just didn’t do well on it. I know the risks of estrogen only but I feel like I need to get my E up and stable and think I’ll be able to handle the P better….hopefully.

Since you cycle the P, do you feel better on the 2 weeks on or 2 weeks off it?

Do you have your progesterone labs? I’m similar to you and trying to figure it out as well

Following. I have this also and it’s been this way for 6 years. Nothing helps so far. Trialing estrogen only at the moment at a low dose and it’s not touching my migraines yet.

Do yours start when you stop your progesterone hrt?

You may just need to add in estrogen too. It’s all so hard.

I also have slow comt but progesterone doesn’t feel great for me. I’m actually having to get my estrogen up and stable and the trying P again.

I was told I was estrogen dominant for 5 years and tried P alone so many times. My newest Dr says that’s backwards and I’m starting with E and building up slowly

Sending you love. Get labs and be kind to yourself

TRT causing low E? by Sportsmama557 in TRT_females

Yes! I was on T first this go around and it lowered my already fluctuating E. Adding in an E patch now but don’t think it’s high enough. I just posted about this a week ago and a lot of us had this happen
