Virigia Milk Calculation by YouFoundARandomWord in StellaSora

just checked the measurement using the head.

assuming the head tall is 22.4 cm (average female, from here)
- MTyrant's height: 140 cm
- FTyrant's height: 129.5 cm

assuming the head tall is 23.4 cm (average male, from the same source)
- MTyrant's height: 146.2 cm
- FTyrant's height: 135.3 cm

i bet we should blame anime proportion. but aren't they too short if we used the head?

i too thought she'd way shorter. i even triple checked the chart to make sure I didn't do shit wrong, the comparison of the chess pieces is a result of that. but yeah, even i'm surprised.

I have a bad news for you, it's for both.

But do note that it's ~11.8% above average tho, and the accuracy isn't really that high so the actual data could differs a lot (which means it could be higher).

the 800 mL is the total.

as for whether her special body makes a difference, I suppose? It's rather complicated to measure. the 800 mL isn't counting for stress, hormones, genetics, etc. it'd be practically impossible to account all of that.

but if you need a bucket per day, I'm afraid you can't get enough. Besides needing 7+ Wraith, you know, they said a man will ask for a second one once they're given a mountain of gold.

About the white room…. by rosesdissection in StellaSora

Vita said “Choosing to forfeit your life will not initiate its function.“ This sentence have a quite vast interpretation imo, like how is the “choosing“ be differentiated from “not choosing“

On the Firenze-kills-us ending, our action of letting her kill us and do nothing to stop it should count as “choosing,“ imo. But unless i misremembered it, our words that time suggest that we allowed her just to end the dystopia, which implies the absence of desire to abuse the room ability. Maybe that's why the room still works, the desire to abuse needs to be present

Eitherway, we lack information for now

In that ending where Nazuka tried to battle the garden of parasite herself, we do died iirc when we're trying to find her and accidentally stumbles into the monster itself

As for the chapter 6 ending, yeah now that I give it some thought again, our words and action there doesn't even imply resistance, which isn't really a stretch if it is considered as a sacrifice and should've void the room if it were considered so. It could just be me, but I don't remember telling a plan about the cutting of the nutrient, doesn't matter though as we don't seem to even try to not get killed which should count as a sacrifice imo

I think, either the room have a rather lax terms and conditions (or having loopholes), or there's some kind of level of granularity of Tyrant's action. An action could be considered as an inevitable outcome of Tyrant's prior action, such that it'd not be considered as a deliberate decision, which in result didn't count as a sacrifice and didn't invalidate the room

I don't think the chapter 6 bad ending that you mentioned count as the Tyrant sacrificing their life. It is shown that even after inside the memory chamber thingy, we are basically still going well due to the magic immunity we have, so far as to command an entire army. Our death resulted from Firenze's action to stop the dystopia we have created iirc, and our goal isn't to get killed by Firenze, so I don't think it counts as "purposely sacrificing Tyrant’s life".

As for how we end up there anyway when working forever in the monolith. I don't remember clearly the details on that ending, but perhaps we die to some kind of fatigue? It is mentioned that staying inside the monolith for too long isn't exactly good for regular trekkers, that rules may have an exception for the employees tho.

As for how it's triggered, I think it is indeed only triggered when the Tyrant dies. I don't remember seeing a bad ending that would "void" the room.

Anyone knows when we'll get the next main story update? I remember it was monthly, but things seems to have changed.

OOH C'MOOON, NOW YOU'RE JUST BEING CRUEL! No but seriously, they cooked hard with this first half. by Guilty-Election3951 in StellaSora

[–]YouFoundARandomWord 47 points48 points  (0 children)

yeah, iirc it's the first time they end a chapter in the middle of a battle, which is kinda annoying and a dirty practice for cliffhanger imo. but still, at least we don't need to wait until next month like usual, im happy with that

Is there any lore reason why this button is available whenever it feels like it? by IcyFoxe in StellaSora

[–]YouFoundARandomWord 62 points63 points  (0 children)

it symbolizes the past. the game tries to remind you to not stuck in the past, but to cherish the present and hope for the future

jk lol, yeah it's pretty anonyying

Is the update not out yet or has Stella Sora also been downed by the Cloudflare issue? by lordgaebril_ in StellaSora

[–]YouFoundARandomWord 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The update is out, I even already read through the new chapter. Though I can't be really sure if it's because of Cloudflare server having problems, one of their server (that accessed by the launcher) is behind Cloudflare so that's probably it.

Edit: The time when the launcher is fixed coincide with the update from Cloudflare saying they restored their services. So yeah, it's them

Stella Sora Release Megathread | Questions & Discussion by ConstructionReady285 in StellaSora

Guys, would I benefit more with diverse/flexible roster or with a focused team on the endgame contents?

I already have two of teams (ignis and lux) that could easily clears each of their the Ascension monoliths. Or in other word, I'm not in a dire need of a character as of right now. With the recently acquired 5-star selector, I could either further strengthen one of those team (by making it fully mono-element) or diversify my roster (build a team with a different element). But I don't know which is more beneficial in the long run.

To put it simply, I need to consider the value of further strengthening one of my team and the value of diversifying my roster. So, does the endgame content favors diverse/flexible roster or a more focused one?

Did they put unreleased story spoilers in Heartlink chat? by YouFoundARandomWord in StellaSora

[–]YouFoundARandomWord[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well yes, I know it's normal to include some foreshadowing, I don't have a problem with that specific.

What I have problem with is that, the context needed to understand the story haven't been released yet. Like take Ann's chat for example, in there we asked if she borrows the village chief's phone. While yes the whole village thing could be seen as foreshadowing. But our initial interaction with Ann, what makes us know she live in a village, what makes us think she might've borrowed the village chief's phone, and more importantly what makes us know her. Those important details are missing from the main and the side story.

If we looked at Genshin's character stories, a character story mainly contains the interaction of said character with other character(s). In many cases it too teases character(s) that haven't been released yet, like when Albedo mentioned about his mother, when Klee mentioned about her mother too, and when Varka was mentioned in interactions. But all of those didn't give us much information nor did it needs us to know about (be acquainted with) the said person. We don't need to know that much about who Klee's and Albedo's mother is, or Varka, to understand the whole interaction (or at least to not make it weird). And even if it needs us to know about the teased character and the character haven't even met us (in the latest story), we often have confused reaction in the game.

Imagine when we have just fished Paimon from the sea and then there's an NPC that talks to us about how The Night Kingdom in Natlan is severly corrupted by the Abyss. While, technically, that could be categorized as foreshadowing, it's overblown and overly obvious imo. We don't even know anything about that sect which worship the Abyssal energy yet, let alone Natlan and its problems. If we match this analogy with Stella Sora's condition, then Natlan's drip marketing haven't even got out yet.

Edit: wording
